You said it all clearly and I agree with you that it is hard to find something positive about the development and current status of EnergyCoin.
The only reason I keep my 10 NUC staking is that I believe that the reanimation of EnergyCoin ecosystem is possible and serves a good purpose.
Maybe to keep the dream alive is for me a good reason to send every day 1 transaction over the blockchain to one other wallet I own.

Let me show you what I see. The main indicator of network performance is the number of transactions. It is difficult to talk about the stable operation of the network if only 1-3 transactions pass through the network every day. April 24, 25, 26 - a total of 1 transaction per day. You can talk as much as you want about the reliability of your car, especially when you don’t drive it. I only appreciate what I see. And I see no news, no announcements, no progress in the development of anything from the team. Zero information.

Let's be honest with ourselves. Give me one reason why I should be happy with the current situation with this coin? I will not list those things that I should be dissatisfied with due to the complete lack of goals in the project. My message quoting your reward phrase was just deleted and I'm not going to talk about it further. I do not want to discuss the goals of the project, which do not exist, and the unification of the community, which also does not exist. I was very outraged by the deletion of my previous post and only this. Thank you for the frank truth about the state of affairs in the project now. I don't see the point in discussing anything further.

Yesterday evening I was reading your post and also searched for your previous posts and they were not positive on my person and the development of EnergyCoin.
Your post did hurt me a bit and I decided to react with detailed information. Maybe there are other people not satisfied with how the development of EnergyCoin was carried out. Soon EnergyCoin exists for 8 years and that is a long time for a coin with no real purpose yet at this moment I still believe that we can beat Bitcoin if we really work together. My slogan for 2014-2015 is not changed: "EnergyCoin is the green Bitcoin of the future!"

But I must agree to the situation looks not very promising at the moment. I heard nothing concrete from EnergyCoin Foundation we need supporters that can code applications and not want to get paid in fiat or Bitcoin but in a share of a token that can be exchanged when the product is successful and I mean tokens on EnergyParty.

The EnergyParty is a very powerful platform on the EnergyCoin blockchain and my dream wat development of application on EnergyParty I proved it is easy to use with Python script. The partner development team did not want to use that platform for reasons I did not understand and that was the reason I quit the EnergyCoin Foundation and sold the most of my EnergyCoin because I did not believe other ways to make a useful application for EnergyCoin only. I see EnergyCoin as fuel for EnergyParty and that is not changed.

What do I have to offer for development:
- my time is free, I don't need coins as a reward only the result of what I want to create.
- 0.035 BTC is now about € 1500 but that can change if BTC is €1M and I have time and keep the blockchain alive
- About 10 NUC-node PC to keep the blockchain alive, some are on other locations but I running nodes in my home and can install them by supporting people.
- XEP-tokens to create assets for applications
- Python script for sending tokens in bulk and depending on constraints and input variables.

What is possible?
- Everything that is developed for Bitcoin can be used for EnergyCoin application if coders help and if there are more nodes that serve the network.
- With EnergyCoin/EnergyParty we can create an ecosystem that stores environmental values and it is an exchange for these values in EnergyParty exchange.



Now some answers to your post.
That the application never saw daylight is because of a conflict of insight and the earning model of the bicycle application.
More users were expected and that was bat for the earning model.
With current knowledge, another design could lead to a successful application, for instance just using the Python script sending tokens to the registered app users.
At the time of the development, EnergyCoin was delisted from Bittrex, and developers were paid in EnergyCoin partly lead to a cash flow problem and the team running out of resources.

That is the right answer! Also that you don't need them is nice.
This game was to spring a bit live into this topic. When this topic is really dead and no one reacts to my messages the EnergyCoin deserves no new change for an application. So nice that you took the effort to write the answer and your frustration about the past. I promise that as long as I live I never give up searching for applications Energycoin.

Ok I did and let me go back to 2014 when Energycoin started.
I was employed as a GeoICT researcher at Wageningen University and in 2012 I heard about Bitcoin a bought 2 for € 8 each.
Sold them in 2013 for €80 each and there the book for Bitcoin was closed for me but in 2014 other was a lunch presentation about "Green Economic Growth"....
In this meeting, there was 1 slide on an application of blockchain/bitcoin.
My work was creating Geo-Information from maps and I made the connection with programmable crypto with the maps.
As a newbie, I came here on bitcointalk and found out that there were also coins that don't need mining with bit computers.
I came up with the idea to make use of these PoS coins for environmental applications and on my search way, I found EnergyCoin..
As a reward, I got 125000 in my first wallet and started trading on several exchanges.
Buy walls I set and never sell walls, only sell higher than I bought and in this way, I collected for about € 2000 total investment more than M20 ENRG.
Founded the EnergyCoin Foundation and made friends that support my dream for EnergyCoin.
At my work, they say your EnergyCoin project is a private business and we are not interested to take part in that.
Talked a lot with colleagues they liked the ideas I had at that moment but warned me of a conflict of interests, in the summer of 2017 I left and started GeoJan business. Stopping my job was risky and I needed to secure my future.
So yes I have non-liquid asset like my home and solar panels but I am still available 24/7 to work on the dream "EnergyCoin is the green Bitcoin of the future!"

I am very sad to see double standards everywhere. It seems like people have gone crazy. Someone says - Let's get together, and immediately points to the exit for some. Instead of trying to give life to their bike application to earn coins, as one of the  projects with shoes did, someone is trying to simply turn some of the coins into a non-liquid asset. Open your eyes and tell yourself honestly what you want and what you really deserve. I'm tired of all this nonsense that's going on. The number is 21 and I don't need coins, send those 25 cents to maintain the server or delete my comment again.

Where to download Stakecoin wallet?

Once I was the biggest whale in ENRG with about 30% of all the coins and give away a lot to EnergyCoin Foundation and BTC for development.
I'm proud that I had the vision for building EnergyParty on top of the EnergyCoin blockchain for environmental applications with tokens.
This platform is still up and running https://wallet.energywallet.eu/ and the potential is still huge IMO.
To prevent new whales from cash quickly I propose a coin swap with Stakecoin with a large share and a smart contract to cash out if the value of the ecosystem grows. For instance only cash for the stake you get with supporting the network of EnergyCoin and Stakecoin.

I see the current situation as a so-called "prisoners dilemma"
Nobody moves and wants to make the first step for a coin swap.
It is for me 100% clear that a coin swap can help to create value and funding for development.
I have no financial interest in a coin swap only a moral interest because I believe in environmental application with EnergyCoin in combination with EnergyParty.

ETH 2.0 was a get rich scam by buterin. A typical maneuvering intended to sponge the holder. But on top of that, to absorb more institutional money poured in to crypto by Saylors friends. And if u think a typical investor pays for features u are being misled just as many. Investor cares about who else owns the coin, how many heavy whales swim around, to reflect on the odds of that coin to go up like a chosen few. Like ADA and SOL.
