Hi ENRG people,

As you all know am I the same person als Crypto4Jan alias GeoJanBV.
I put a post on the Stakecoin topic: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.56457738
Stakecoin and EnergyCoin are for me 100% equal in importance and when ENRG makes a stap forward STK also does.
In my roadmap I have a fixed exchange value in mind for ENRG and STK.
If people want to exchange ENRG for STK or STK for ENRG I shall facilitate.
The exchange rate STK/ENRG on basis of total free supply is about 1:40 and I give now 20 ENRG for 1 STK.

I hope on an intense collaboration between the Hybrix.io team, EnergyCoin Foundation and me the community leader of Stakecoin.
Together we can create the ultimate energy saving ecosystem and huge value for the 3 blockchains.

Hi ENRG people,

My last post was two weeks ago and it feels like it's been a very long time as there has been a lot of experimentation with the Ubuntu core wallet in the home network.
No real incentive is needed to apply all my efforts, I am just motivated to achieve my goal at a time that may be far away.
My contribution to the goal of a clean and fair energy currency may be small, but in my vision, I can make a difference to the world.
Bitcoin's recent and future all-time high cannot break my motivation for the goal I have in mind.

So money is not my motivation to put the effort into the future success of EnergyCoin.
If money was the reason I would do better working 40 hours a week for a boss, now I work only about 12 hours a week for having a small income the other time I spend on development and playing with my favorite blockchains.

This morning I was walking with the dogs and thinking of a roadmap for entangled blockchain platform with my 3 favorite blockchains.
Just before the weekend, I received the first version of EnergyCoin daemon that can run on Ubuntu-core!
I shall share the installation link when I'm satisfied.
The great thing is that there is also a bootstrap option and in the future much more what I shall explain in a short roadmap below.

The future goal: Green fair energy-efficient currency system with equal or higher market cap than Bitcoin.
Bitcoin is part of the entangled blockchain platform.

Step1: Ubuntu-core EnergyCoin and Stakecoin wallet for PC-platform

Step2: Ubuntu-core EnergyCoin and StakeCoin wallet for RasberryPI

Step3: Web interface of the 3 wallets

Step4: Opensource block explorers for EnergyCoin and Stakecoin, needed to join the Hybrix.io ecosystem

Step5: Merging the interface of Hybrix with entangled blockchain platform web interface.
In this step, there is a real green bank and also EnergyParty can be part of this.
With Hybrix all kinds of swaps is possible, so people can swap EnergyParty tokens for € value.

Step6: Make Bitcoin green!
Find mining partners to facilitate green transactions.
Green transactions are transactions without fossil fuel and only energy with a value below € 0,00000000000
For a currency, it is never excepted that energy is washed!
With the entangled blockchain platform, we can enforce that and create a huge value for mankind!

Step6: The end of fiat currency!

I agree about the communication but they have the policy only communicate about development that is actually implemented.
And I also communicate about ideas for possible development, I'm more of a dreamer and that was precisely the reason I had to go my own way in December 2018.

My dream is still an equal market cap for ENRG vs BTC what is very ambitious and maybe never possible.

Some updates about my personal ENRG-STK-BTC project.
I bought some thin clients and tried several setups for my project.
The aim of the project is to link ENRG-STK-BTC together in one ecosystem.
The ultimate goal is that eco transactions in BTC are without a BTC-fee but you pay an STK-ENRG fee.
In this way, miners get ENRG (at market-price) and they add the transactions without the fee into a mining block.
The ecosystem with ENRG-STK-BTC linked wallets is to aligning transactions to the eco-miners.
By connecting send wallet to IP-eco-miner  (connect=ecomoner-domain) this is possible.
I want this ecosystem running on a small device and an interface with an HTTPS connection on a webpage or nice App.

See my initial setup and I want to downsize more!

For the proof of concept, I have a small BTC budget.
Now one free time dev is working on the Ubuntu-core source.

Can you send me your ENRG address by PM?
I can check the blockexplorer.
After a stake, you have to wait 24 hours to get new weight again.
I think there is a bit of dust ENRG in your wallet and that gives the 16667 days waiting time for a new reward.

So be patient for the stake.

I have a problem with staking...

Wallet is updated and synced
I start to stake, receive 2x5 coins and then it shows that my weight is 0 and expected time for reward is 16667 days.

I tried to erase the wallet, download new one, re sync it and it happens again.

Anyone knows a solution for this?

Hi Jon,

EnergyCoin Foundation is not supporting EnergyExchange anymore, but I have 1 server running on the same source code so your and other community members' wallets can be unlocked with the seed and private key. Storing only the 12-word seed is not enough the secure your wallet! In wallet options, you can get access to the privatekey and I recommend doing that as soon as possible!

A new wallet for macOS is not supported, maybe the old one is still working, I tried a reinstall on BenSur and there the wallet was not supported.

I have some vision for future development for EnergyCoin and I try to get a CLI-wallet (CLI=Command Line Interface) available on Ubuntu-Server and Ubuntu-Core. The idea is to create a protocol to interact with the Bitcoin-CLI wallet and rewards energy-efficient Bitcoin usage/mining. This is 100% only my personal project and no involvement of EnerfyCoin Foundation!
But first EnergyCoin-CLI has to come available on energy-efficient devices like Raspberry of small intel PS.

Is this currently traded on any exchange?

Also I see the wallet was updated a few months ago. Was it also updated for Mac users?

And I believe my tokens were last on the Energy exchange which is no longer working. How can I use my seed to recover?

The year 2020 is almost over and Bitcoin reached today a new all-time high.
Good for Bitcoin owners but we need a better value for ENRG!
This year was a bad year for the value of EnergyCoin, lets hope 2021 is a better year for Energycoin!


When these are available I want to buy them!

New idea's for development are welcome.

This is an old coin and it is nice to see that there are still users that are staking this coin. Though they have only one exchange at the moment, at least they are better than their contemporaries which have long been disappeared already. Though the price is not that much, but at least it has not fallen to 1-2sat that most coins in crex are experiencing. But I hope the enrg team will rectify their site, I am getting a privacy error upon opening their site, which is not safe.

I want to discuss the details in de open.
I see several scenarios for the application.
I consulted the developer Energycoin wallet and EnergyParty but have no feedback yet, only a few questions about the solution I have in mind.
The scenario's I see:
1: completely decentral connection, this is the desired solution.
2: Registration of eco-Bitcoin miners on a platform where they can join the eco-mining pool, also EnergyCoin staking wallets can register and donate a % staked ENRG to the mining pool.
    The ENRG-stakers provide ENRG for the eco cashback fee and depending on what the Eco-Bitcoin wallet owned decide to do with the received ENRG they get some BTC in return after a certain time.
3: another scenario....

Questions:
1 How to link a Bitcoin wallet to an EnergyCoin address?
The eco-bitcoin wallet user has to do some setup.
Maybe his eco-wallet can send eg 0.001 ENRG to an 'ENRG burn address' and the eco-mining pool knows that an eco-Bitcoin transaction is coming in and give that transaction priority.

I have tons of questions about how this ecosystem sustainably can work but I have the feeling that it can and that it is a super application for EnergyCoin.

I still think we'll see proof of stake raise in interest over where it is now [free markets have a way of testing the extremes so markets will cycle for sure], certainly it has not been disproven as a valid branch for crypto economies to take up and put to use.    My basic reason for liking POS is that it involves the user base better then proof of work which becomes elitist or exclusive to those who manage large farms.    A wider user base and greater ease of access better resembles capitalism and capital and production with the people not centralized as current FIAT standards revolving around political control and failing staid policies of government.

It is a bit quiet here but ENRG is still active in my mind and on my PC:

I'm Rich #5 with 5M ENRG and my stake share is more than 50% sometimes.
Why do I still stake my wallet?
I can for instance give small wallets a chance to stake as I put my wallet offline?
Because I'm still a big fan of Proof of Stake for blockchain applications.
Most of you know that I'm also the community leader of Stakecoin, also a Proof of Stake coin but with no market and no development team.
For Stakecoin I control about 90% of the active wallets so in Stakecoin I'm a real Dagobert Duck.

I have an "out of the box" idea I want to share with the Energycoin community.
This idea can grow big as people support it.
It is about a connection between the Bitcoin blockchain and the Energycoin blockchain.
Bitcoin consumes a huge amount of energy, I understand most of the time they use wasted green energy.
The role of Energycoin can be the validator of sustainable usage of wasted green energy.
I call it "Eco-Bitcoin wallet" and miners who run both blockchains can claim that they run a sustainable business.
Users of (mobile) Eco-Bitcoin wallet can get ENRG-cashback for the transaction fee.
This Eco-Bitcoin wallet ecosystem can hardcoded into the future protocol for Bitcoin mining if 51% of the miners support this.
Why would Bitcoin miners support Eco-Bitcoin?
Simple, because it is a ticket for mass-adoption, there are no arguments against Bitcoin for wasting energy and people like me start supporting the Bitcoin-community.
I asked the coder who build all the wallets for Energycoin for advice and I hope that he gives me an answer that my idea is possible.
