Well I have got the message from the miner indicating that I have mined blocked
(INFO [01-25|16:11:29]  mined potential block                  number=7857 hash=9dc276…0ef0d3).

When I check the balance it shows a value. One time I received 18. If it is orphaned what can I do to get it working again?.

I can start mining with my rig using the the info provided on ethminer but bit reluctant since this issue

That doesn't mean that you mined a block. It just means that you submitted a possible good block to the chain. If it doesn't show in your wallet, it means that someone else submitted the same block and that theirs made it to the canonical chain.
For confirmed blocks, look for this message:
Code:
INFO [TIMESTAMP] 🔗 block reached canonical chain          number=NNNN

Here is who won the block 7857:
http://explore.auraledger.com/#/block/7857

Also. I think the local client might show the unconfirmed balance, and that is not final.
For the confirmed balance, I'd use the chain explorer:
http://explore.auraledger.com/#/address/[your addres]

Thanks for the info mate. That's really helpful.

Just tried that but the balance shows as 0. I used the address value in aura block explorer but the balance shows as 0. I was mining for few hours now.

Are you planning to launch a windows wallet soon? That would make solo mining bit easier  Smiley

Yes, a windows wallet and mining pool are in the works.

Stopping and starting the aura node should get you back on the "canonical" chain.

I have just started to mining the coin. I've used the address to check the balance in http://explore.auraledger.com/#/address/0x73f6f830dc4e486f611b7a743d570223d6a6f8a3

Also using the console the balance does not show accurately. It shows a balance and few tries after it shows as 0.

Most likely your local chain got orphaned.  At this point you have a very low chance of winning a block without a good GPU or mining rig.  Hopefully we'll have a mining pool soon.

Everyone go in this thread and to the guy who started it, and comment in the thread and PM him, and ask him to add Aura to this Mining Pool

anyone can share how to solo mine with gpu?

download ethminer for your platform from https://github.com/ethereum-mining/ethminer/releases

then follow these instructions, but use 'aura' instead of 'geth': https://github.com/ethereum/go-ethereum/wiki/Mining#using-ethminer-with-geth

thanks dev,

got it working now

When I run make on 14.4.5 I get this

build/env.sh: 30: exec: go: not found

https://github.com/ethereum/go-ethereum/issues/3277

Have you looked at this? https://github.com/ethereum/go-ethereum/wiki/Installing-Go#ubuntu-1404

The Ubuntu repositories carry an old version of Go.

Ubuntu users can use the 'gophers' PPA to install an up to date version of Go (version 1.7 or later is preferred). See https://launchpad.net/~gophers/+archive/ubuntu/archive for more information. Note that this PPA requires adding /usr/lib/go-1.X/bin to the executable PATH.
I just switched over to Windows, lol.
