Yeah this isn't suspicious. "+1, and ASC, SAV, TEK, TGC" followed by a "+1, and ASC, SAV, TGC" -- notice the "+1, and" portion -- this doesn't even make sense. These are all the same people. Go back and look -- ssshhh123 registered July 30th and all posts are regarding giveaways or getting these scam coins added to an exchange. You may notice ssshhh123 was also pushing for ELP and VLC to be added. These people are all in the scam (it's possible that they're all the same person, actually) -- same dev is throwing all of this crap together. ASC, SAV, TEK, TGC, and VLC should not be traded on any exchanges. It's obviously too late for ELP since Cryptsy already listed it...so whatever.

It doesn't take a master detective to figure this out. Do not list these coins -- the future stability of the altcoin market depends on improving your judgment.

This guy is just sick, look at his posts here and in other threads, his purpose has only one: trash as hard as possible the ELP and those who supported the ELP. I'd recommend him to find a mental doctor. In the meantime, I will take advice of many in the ELP thread, using the "ignore" button on him.

I know he's going to reply with big and huge paragraphs, but read other people's comments on him, not worth the time to fight with him, just ignore, period.  Grin

This is an example of the logic we're dealing with; this is one reason why you have to be 18 to open an E*TRADE account. If anybody was curious, he's in on the con.

The same dev can make a dozen coins if he wants to, I fail to see your point. Each coin has it's own followers and may be popular or not. Your conspiracy theories are irrelevant. Suggesting a dev should only make one coin and the rest are a scam is just FUD.

Your argument would be valid if the dev came out and clearly identified himself before making each coin.  Don't post nonsense and add to the nonsense in much of this forum.

There's a difference when Sunny King starts both PPC and XPM or when Baritus starts DGC and SRC versus username Growthcoin, Valuecoin, CryptoBuck, PeopleCoin or whatever coin name forum user, comes out and starts a coin and tries to be a different person with a different dev 'team' each time.  That's called deceit.  And hence, a scammer.
My argument is perfectly valid. You just want devs to behave YOUR way that's all, or you try and discredit the coin as a scam. So pathetic. Like I said the coins will have their own following, some will succeed others will not, what is low volume will eventually get ditched from Cryptsy to conserve resources. Survival of the fittest.

You are officially part of the problem, man.

Just trying to improve the integrity of the altcoin market. This has gone beyond hobby for me, and I have too much invested to sit back and see it all collapse due to immaturity and ignorance. I don't appreciate seeing people scammed or having their time wasted by these clowns...and I don't like to see lazy con artists profit off the misfortunes/losses of others. Without rules we have chaos...and as much as erk seems to accept and promote chaos we all know how things will play out if we continue down this path. We're talking about a $100,000,000 altcoin market here -- it's time to start taking things a bit more seriously and cleaning this mess up.

Anyone who partakes in, promotes, or accepts dishonesty and deceit in the finance world is a problem. I'm not saying we need laws at this point -- just common sense and integrity. Unfortunately, erk's attitude toward integrity is all-too-common. When my investments are being devalued due to cheap cash grabs, I take it seriously. There is no room for this nonsense.

Anybody who enjoys this market needs to wake up so we can get this thing moving in the right direction. Let's stop accepting all of this crap! BitJohn has done so much for the altcoin community and he has a ton on his plate to keep Cryptsy running with the growing demands on the system and rapid growth of his platform. I appreciate everything he has done and I use Cryptsy on a regular basis to trade altcoins -- it's hands-down the best altcoin trading platform even with the growing pains. However, even BitJohn has to agree that some changes need to be made.

I don't want to see the bottom drop out of the altcoin market -- let's stop accepting these junk coins and greedy devs into our community and all of the fake accounts and payoffs that come with it.

On another note, it might be time for Cryptsy dividends...?  Some CryptsyFEE action maybe?  That should more than make up the loss in volume from not accepting anymore of these toy coins...

That's exactly what this dev is doing, actually -- making about a dozen coins, getting them on an exchange, dumping them, and then abandoning them. They don't really have their own followers -- it's almost all the same people posting and bumping and asking to have them added to Cryptsy. They all have low hashrates...and they are all abandoned as soon as they dump their holdings. You don't think it's slightly shady that the same dev makes dozens of different usernames and hides the fact that it's all the same dev?

Listen -- I'm telling you that it's not doing the altcoin community any favors when a dev creates a currency, dumps it, and then abandons it. When the same dev does it over and over again and keeps getting away with it (because people like you enable them) it's a pretty serious problem. At this point I'm assuming you're in on it too, then? I'm having a hard time believe you're honestly this clueless. If you can't understand why a dishonest dev that continues to make coins, pump them, dump them, and abandon the project might be an issue, then this is not the market for you -- maybe you should be trading Pogs on the playground (do they still make those?!)

Adding these coins to Cryptsy weakens Cryptsy, weakens the overall market, destabilizes everything even further than it normally would be, and if it continues it will ultimately destroy the altcoin market. These are facts -- continuing to repeat this process over and over will destroy altcoins. Why is it so important for you to allow this dev to continue ripping people off and misleading them? This dev is dishonest and represents everything that is currently wrong with altcoins.

Cryptsy will collapse if crap continues to be piled on top of it. Why would anybody support this? You guys need to wake up. Next time one of these is added, I'm dumping my holdings, selling my hardware, and getting out. Never in my life have I taken part in such a disaster and there are too many people in this community that lack even the most basic levels of common sense.

SavingCoin please

I'm urging you not to add SavingCoin -- at this point, these junk coins are devaluing this entire market. Each time one of these things is added, the same dev and his buddies are dumping their holdings and moving on to the next scam. By listing these coins, investors are losing trust in the entire market.

Notice how the ELP thread completely died the second ELP was listed on Cryptsy? No more daily bumps/etc -- all of those goons dumped their ELP into the laps of unsuspecting investors and moved on. This same scam is happening over and over again...and the SAV people are the exact same ELP people. Elephantcoin is now in the bottom 5 for mining profitability (just as I predicted.) There's no way you made enough money listing ELP to make it worth discouraging anyone that bought ELP from trading/investing in altcoins. You're shooting yourself in the foot!

I know you're in this for profit...but your profits will start to suffer if people (completely) stop taking altcoins seriously. At this rate, we're merely a few months away from the bottom potentially falling out here. It's already growing difficult to mine for a profit after power costs...and part of the reason is that these garbage coins keep getting listed on Cryptsy. As soon as I'm losing money, I'm going to stop mining...and most big miners will follow.

You have to draw a line now -- we need to see some innovation in order to list a currency on Cryptsy and not just the same crap over and over again. You can't let these idiots continue to get away with ripping everyone else off.

I'm telling you...if you think you have a good thing going here and want the success to continue...either take my advice or brace for impact. PM me if you need more details.
For every seller there is a buyer, the coins just dont go out of circulation because miners get rid of them. When a coin becomes unprofitable to mine, the difficulty drops to I prove it's profitability again, with the exception of coins like CHNcoin that get stuck at high diff for months (there is a fork coming to fix that) most of the coins are roughly similar, they have their groups of fans that keep trading. If trade dies, then eventually Cryptsy will drop the coin to remove clutter, so I wouldn't worry right now.

Look at ELP - those same goons are behind Valuecoin, SAV, ASC, and others. They are also the ones begging to get these coins listed. The only buyers are uneducated/new...and as soon as these things are listed the price spikes, everyone dumps, and the buyers get screwed. Sure they should have done their homework first...but why even bother listing this crap and supporting the scammers? Cryptsy is having enough problems with micro-sellers/multi-miners/etc and they should be pruning the exchange instead of adding more crap. Most people trading on cryptsy are not professional traders and they're left holding the bag because they didn't know better.

Quality control at the top altcoin exchange is important at this critical time or else altcoins in general will fail -- trust me. If any scammer can make a coin, get it listed on Cryptsy by making a bunch of fake accounts to post with and/or paying others off to assist, and then rip off uneducated buyers there is a real problem. What is the point of all of these clones? As soon as they get listed and dumped they are completely abandoned and it keeps happening. Just because there are enough suckers to make the scam work doesn't mean we should be enabling the scammers. A line has to be drawn -- it's getting a bit ridiculous.

The copy/paste coins have to stop (even the ones that aren't scams from this point forward) - this entire market is quickly becoming a joke and I'd hate to see everything collapse.

There's nothing wrong with ELP, it trades fine at cryptsy. It started there with 0.00007 and shoot up to over 0.0002 then back to 0.0001 now. It is a typical trader manipulations as far as I can tell, and I am happily trade it almost daily. Moreover, profitability-wise it is in the middle range of the LTC group, don't mislead people by saying it is at the bottom, it is not. ELP trades with LTC in cryptsy not with BTC. There's almost no one trades with BTC in coins-e, so it is pointless to quote it for your "evidence". Take a look at the coinchoose yourself.

I noticed that you bash whenever possible the ELP, and I can understand why many people in that thread put you on their ignore list. Barking is of no use, ELP is in cryptsy and it will be there for long.

That's fine if you're enjoying trading it and making a profit. However, there are plenty of other currencies you could be trading to make even more profit.

It's pretty obvious the entire point of ELP was to get it listed on Cryptsy so that the dev and their faithful (aka paid off) followers could dump it. They pumped the price up as best they could (which is easily done with the micro-hype surrounding a newly listed coin) and dumped. Notice that there is no longer any activity in that thread? There were almost daily bumps in the ELP thread and pointless client updates/etc -- they have all dumped their holdings (including the dev's 1.4 million premined ELP) and moved on to SAV/etc.

You can argue about it all day long...but I'm telling you it has to stop. There are enough copy/paste clone coins out there...and we've supported the scammers long enough. Enough people have gotten burned and discouraged -- Cryptsy is making this scam so easy to run it's absurd. They are harder on premined coins now...but with hash power spread so thin over all of the various currencies now it's still pretty easy for the dev and his buddies to rack up a bunch of coins quickly after a weak announcement and ultimately pull off more of the same. It becomes a scam when the dev walks away after dumping their holdings.

I'm not demanding ELP be pulled from Cryptsy -- at this point the damage has been done and that would only further hurt the victims. The scammers have already gotten out. However, some pruning should be done and minimum volume/network speed/etc needs to be considered. When the entire network speed can be doubled by somebody with a handful of GPUs there isn't a shred of security.

Take a look at the people pulling for SAV -- they're all the exact same people. Even the ones that aren't the same username are the same people on different accounts (maybe the identical, poor grammar and post-types will help convince you?) I find it hard to believe you are this naive.
