Hello guys,
I sent 25000+ XEM from bittrex to polo but I forgot the message. So I made a ticket support, and I have 0 answer since like 5 days. It's that normal ?
Furthermore, I cant send message in trollbox, maybe I'm ban ?
Please help me...
Thanks.

Yes, I'm an asshole
I think polo needs to upgrade their servers, without a ddos attack just the organic traffic sometimes kills the site, when there is a bunch of people pump and dumps, they are unreachable. I mean if they are this much in trouble with organic traffic, I don’t know what could happen with an ddos attack.

On last DDOS attack, assuming it was a ddos because i don't think a major quantity of users clicking sell will gave so much impact, Inlost 0.2 btc just because I am late to click sell. I am no even greedy or anything. I saw a pump, wait for a while and think it was enough, but can't sell it at all.
Did you mean you lose 0.2 btc in total from your pocket or do you mean 0.2 btc lost from the possible profits?

I mean if you see something like Ripple to get that big and than dumped and you are trying to ride the pump and dump with coin manipulators I am sorry but you are already risking your coins. No need to ride the P&D, just check fort he coins that has future value in the long term.

0.2 from my total pocket, in other word, I am 0.2 shorther in btc than before I invested on xrp.

Don't know what possesses me at that time, I saw a good rise and I thought I'll take a few percentage profit. I usually am a careful trader, but that time wad quite unlucky because just a few minutes after my buy, the site crashed and when it goes back online, the price plummeted. Later, I found someone who claimed to be the one responsible for the pump manipulation (not sure how legit his claim is)  and perhaps he or someone related to him is also the one causing the crash. But anyway, lesson learned.

To all asking for assistance here for poloniex tickets, remember that this thread seems no longer followed by polo staff, so it won't help to ask here, dead words here....

Here we go again
Can you guys make an official Statement about the Huntercoin-> Chimera Airdrop pls.

No matter where i ask i get different answers from your Staff.
From Yes to Never heard of it.
Now i am not 100% sure that it will happen.

So an official Notice would be great !

Basicly:
Its ok to keep your huntercoins on polo and you will receive your Chimera from the Airdrop over there?

TY

Site and API seem very unresponsive today - is Poloniex under DDoS attack - or just heavy load?

I think it is heavy load. the XRP is rising fast and volume is huge.

I can't connect on Poloniex at the moment. It looks like a DDoS attack to me. Volume or XRP can't affect the connectivity of a website.

Could be a DDoS coordinated with the pump, its difficult to see where all the movements are going and I guess some people may be taking advantage of that. It's certainly causing problems for me.

I don't quite understand, how does XRP increment affect the site performance? I can understand that because XRP increased wildly, there will be a lot of users online and do trade at the same time, but what differs this event with the usual trading hour where there also a lot of people trading at the same time (although possibly not the same coin at the same time)?

How quickly to contact support?

Not sure how long will it take if you use ticket, but you can almost get instant reply from moderator if you use trollbox

Hi!  I've been working on an orderbook visualizer using Poloniex's API that can show a live, dynamic level 2 depth-of-market view for all of Polo's coins.  Although still under development, it's working pretty well and I'd love to get some feedback!  I thought this kind of thing could be useful to traders; it gives a unique view into the market that really isn't available anywhere else.

Site is here: https://cryptoviz.net/

A big thanks to Poloniex for making this level of data available through their API.

I thought someone said somewhere on this thread (one or two pages behind, but I am currently not in mood to flip through pages just to ensure because i am already sure it is there) that enabling 2fa (first time I heard polo have this feature too) will "negate" the necessity of confirming via email. Have you tried to use your primary email, then WDing with 2fa?

A little suggestion, maybe you should try to withdraw in form of other crypto, like doge for example, maybe -just maybe- the process will be easier

I was the one who said that.  My withdrawal went through in about 16 hours and actually since then Blackcoin clears immediately so that issue is gone for me anyhow.
The 2FA thing is a good idea, however it only gives the option to then disable email confirmation.    You do manually have to go through options and select to turn off emails after enabling 2FA.   If asking for no email confirm it will then send out an email to confirm as such.    That was received pretty much instantly for me and it then disabled the email confirm and all you then need to withdraw is 2FA confirmation each time which should be far quicker.
