Thanks, new ANN should be up in a bit. Everything will be linked to fire-community (email, website, Twiter, BitCoinTalk, etc..), that way in the future, transfer of accounts & sites will be simple as pi (TT). No sense in building something for the community, unless it can stay with the community & keep from having to start over

The new ANN (OP) thread hasn't been posted yet, just waiting for everyone to update & also updating it a little more. Thanks for the fix, sure cecilbdemented will be glad to have a helping hand on anything that could be fixed.

Edit: The revision to the new ANN is a few post down/up, just an addition to a post for now & will start the new thread tomorrow.

There is a common error in github. I don't know how to fix it at that level, but it's also not a big deal. in /src/leveldb build_detect_platform needs to be executable. It will exit "make" with an error if not fixed.

So if y'all hit that error, do the following:
cd /src/leveldb
chmod +x build_detect_platform
cd ../..
make

Then it will go.

We don't have an updated block explorer yet, but GrinZ has made contact about waiting for an update (seems to be still looking at tom14cat14's OP) & have pointed him toward the new (soon to be updated OP). Now if we can get Block Experts to update as well, that all depends on if the person who had FIRE added to Block Experts is also updating to the new wallet? If anyone wants to help contact them & request them to update the explorer to the new wallet. I have sent them a message via Twitter ( https://twitter.com/blockexplorer ), but it would help if anyone who updated also sends a request to update

First tx shows that I've been with FIRE since the start, trying to help & keep the FIRE going. Even after everyone abandon FIRE (twice), I'm still trying to help (not as a dev, but a community member willing to help) & just want to show trust to the community. Maybe then a very skilled Developer will see what I see FIRE could be in the very long term dedication to FIRE could achieve

Has also shown a lot of hard work on TECH, which I kindly ask him if he could help FIRE out & he is the one that should get any donations for the fix. I'm just learning & can only offer the coding of the ANN (OP) & working on another website + other social media sites for FIRE

P.S. We don't have a Development Fund wallet, any donations will be in the new ANN thread (OP) upon creation though.

I've launched a new wallet. It works great! Now we have the fastest blockchain! Thanks guys!

I would suggest the developers to create a Development Fund and publish a wallet for donations.

Yup, just keep the wallet open.  It might be slow going at first...everyone will mint some blocks quickly when they first FIRE it up, but continuing will rely on enough users participating to keep the blockchain going so we can get those confirmations and make our coins eligible to stake again.  I think we have enough interested community members, but it is the weekend so try to get the word out and be patient!  Keep calm and stake on!

Just keep your wallet open & staking, posting also shows there's community support. The more community support we see, the more updates we will work on & try our best to keep the FIRE community happy. The new ANN thread will be posted sometime this weekend (+ many other things), also hope to make a few updates to the wallet design & will wait a few weeks to see some community support (also need the block explorers updated, PM's have been sent). The wallet logo redesign will be just a simple flame, which is our way of a small update & still leaving an option for someone to offer a better one. Trying to keep the community happy & still leave room for anyone to help is the goal, thanks again for showing support for FIRE

Wallet 2.0 & 3.0 will be on a different chain, with 24 hour stake age (60 confirmations).
The new updated 4.0 wallet is set to 1 hour stake age with (15 confirmations).
It's up to the community if they want to update or stay on the old chain with rouge nodes & forked chains being seen in it. Will keep updating the new wallet if the community wants us too? Enjoy the new wallet, keep the FIRE going.
