The issue is settled, and the other dev will pursue no action against this Flappycoin.  I have actually begun talking with the dev on possible project ideas together.

In the meantime, the recognition of this coin alone will carry it to 30 satoshi.  If you are selling at 4 and 5 satoshi trying to scalp a profit, be careful; demand is increasing and you may find that plebs aren't willing to dump coins back on your at lower bid levels.  With the confusion of Pandacoin v2 vs. v3, people are looking for a new 'it' coin and this is going to be the one of the moment.

If you want to sell and try to flip, fine, but go for higher levels than 1 satoshi higher.  At least go for double digit satoshis, but even then be careful.  I am buying and holding and recommend you do the same.  In at 2 - 4 satoshi and I'm holding until at least 50 -100, maybe more.

dont hope too much for the recognition of the coin. you may be the one losing at the end. I have a huge btc amount but only invested 0.1BTC in FLAP.

Thank you all for your help, this really is a nice community. I have tried:

- Using the .conf fearisfearless pasted (it's the same .conf I used before changing ports and username/password) - no luck
- Copying the .conf to qt folder as suggested by fearisfearless (I though this might work) - but still no luck
- Adding the rpcconnect line as minerman1234 suggested (and also removing port line later, though I don't think that's necessary) - nothing

Thank you very much for your suggestions, though. Smiley

As I mentioned, I could debug this issue myself if anyone would paste getpeerinfo from their windows wallet (addresses:ports, you can censor everything else if you want to). Smiley
Thank you alchebyte!

OK, no luck so far. Can any of you post getpeerinfo?

Yep. It's there.

Copy your .conf file here :-)
Maybe we will sort that out

Well, it's the same one that was suggested to me, I only changed the ports in case it conflicted with some other wallet...

Code:
rpcuser=u
rpcpassword=p
daemon=1
server=1
listen=1
port=13130
rpcport=13131

addnode=110.169.60.173:60370

addnode=188.40.106.68:35651

I would just like to get some "getpeerinfo" to compare the nodes. Smiley

Thanks for all the help, though. This is the first time I encounter such problem with a wallet, and I've had about 20-30-ish wallets on this machine. Smiley

To begin, the "port" field shouldn't be necessary.  Secondly, it looks like you're missing the rpcconnect field, try adding:

rpcconnect=127.0.0.1

If you're mining from a rig that's separate from the one on your wallet, you'll also need to add rpcallowip as a field as well.

Flappycoin is the new Dogecoin for sure.   Everyone should be mining this now while the diff is still low.  I started mining it.  It's going to blow up just like doge did... 3 weeks min.

dont count on that man... well be lucky if it even hits 20 satoshi... this is a hype coin... hypes die  Wink
Nothing wrong with 20 satoshi... that's 5x where it is now, and it means every million is worth 0.2BTC You can still mine that even with 1 2-3 card rig in a day :5-P

If I invest 0.5BTC in renting rigs then I can expect to make around 4-4.5BTC if it goes to 20 Satoshi :]

look at my post close to the bottom.  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=464743.640  See if this helps.  I put my conf file with my flappycoin-qt.exe and others put in AppData\Roaming\Flappycoin.  I can fire up my webex and help you, if you'd like
