There are 2 seed nodes as far as I know it's possible they are off line or out of sync.
Yesterday I got lucky, was able to sync and transfer my coins.
Today no idea.
Because most ppl can not handle 200 nodes and maxed out bandwidth it's best to close your port.
Which is bad for a stable network
I run 32 bit maybe it works better then 64.
