I can offer escrow for this.

Thanks BadAss.Sx.

We'll need escrow to transfer the stabilization fund. We've delivered all the projects promised on the roadmap, Our team have dedicated countless hours designing, developing, managing and giving support to the greenbacks community. In that time, We've deployed a valuable amount of innovative features, services and established a good cryptocurrency infrastructure. The team that takeover the project will not receive ICO funds, they will turn over all the developed services of Greenbacks and will go ahead from there. We are in talks with cryptocurrency groups that could takeover this project. We'll have more information soon

Dear GreenBack developers & the community,

I'm a very experienced systems architect and entrepreneur, running Altcoin.Center that provides altcoin related services covering the whole spectrum from coin development to business strategies.

While my hands are already more than full of ongoing projects including the takeover of several coins abandoned by their original developers, I am interested in providing the necessary skills and coordination to keep GreenBacks going. I would need others to participate as experts and specialists of their respective areas though, and I see there have already been offers to contribute in this thread.

I'm particularly interested in GreenBacks since I know the history and significance of the original greenback dollar, and am working to set up a system that will provide similar resource based backing for a handful of altcoins: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.9782634

Greenbacks project layout i can say is good, if you want to attract developer, team to continue this project i would suggest you escrow the remaining fund to either trusted community escrow or exchanges, like what QBK team and XMG(XMG premine to be distributed are handed  Poloniex for better distribution) did.  If greenbackteam really care for the future of the coin why not act first by simply submitting the remaining fund to trusted exchanges / escrow, so that a third party will manage the fund release when the new team takeover.  What do you think?

Reposting:

Here is our update:

We have really enjoyed working on GreenBacks, and have provided the community everything this coin needs for a solid infrastructure:

Wallet
Mobile Wallet
Web Wallet
Website
Crowdfunding Platform
Press Releases

At this point though, both our head developer and myself, the head marketer, just don't have time to commit to the coin. We both have taken on full time jobs with companies, and this project isn't getting the support it needs. Rather than watch it continue to lose support, we hoping to get it back up and running. So what we will do is an interview process to determine a new individual (developer) or team, to take over the coin completely. The community will decide on who they want to take it over, and we will host voting once we have entries.

How to apply:
Post a comment in this thread the following:
1. Introduction
2. Experience
3. Skills
4. What you plan to bring to GreenBacks and where you plan to take it
5. Resources (ie: time, team, partner, etc...)

We will allow the community to evaluate these, as well as us, and then we will open a survey. The Application period will last until Sunday 00:00 UTC. If we do not receive any applications then we aren't sure what will happen to GreenBacks, but we do expect this to be a way to rejuvenate the coin. We want people to bring in new ideas to the coin, and discuss those ideas in the plan. We're looking forward to seeing who applies.

A takeover is good but the question is would the greenback team surrender what is left on  the fund collected in ICO? or this is just another act of running away with the ICO fund?  does all the listed project done cost 112 BTC? i see this coins plans very interesting, never participated on it's ICO but was waiting for their major plan to materialize.. sadly felt sorry for those who invested to this coin..

You are a honest team and we all know it. But if we should say the things by it's name, the missed opportunity of building a solid community it's your fault. I myself already proposed many times to create some kind of introducing people into gb. It's really simple, it only takes a few coins and some faucet/contests and so on. This coin had one big fail: the PR. With a better PR into the social scene (not reviews into websites that no one really follows nor trusts) things would be greatly different. Reddit, Facebook, Twitter, g+, etc could have been used in a better way. Collaborations with other coins and major investors also. A poker site or a marketplace alone would have never brought people into GB.
At least that's just my 2 cents...

We didn't want to just giveaway a bunch of coins to get people into the community because we felt that would dilute the coin and it's price. We wanted to go the route of getting people to talk about GB, so we worked to get press releases, and try to stir up twitter. Something like a poker site is one thing we focused on heavily, but that developer ran away with the money, and that was after about 3 weeks or so of working with him. The PR maybe could have been better, but if the community had the spread this coin to the people they know and so on, that would make a much bigger impact than anything we could have done. In hindsight things always look clearer though, so I'm not going to say we couldn't have done it better.

you have not done everything called in the white paper (marketplace, greenbacks inc...)

i posted it before but again: the community gave you many ideas, you never come up with any idea where to go. So dont do now its because of no community support that your leaving this.

android wallet, pokersite, stabilization fund where?? promoting? so lets say you paid 10k for this (what is a big calculation) 31k/2/4 is 3875 dollar per person a month and you even did not developed the android wallet in this case. And as i think you still worked in your daily job beside.

Or lets say it in another point of view: if you would be an investor in your own ico, how would you feel now?

Thanks for answers

We did deliver the android wallet, sorry if you missed the news. Talking about community involvement, look through this thread, for the past two months we were averaging maybe 2 posts per day by people in the community. That proves that the community is not involved. The developers should not be the single force relied on to make a coin succeed, we mention this many times in our whitepaper. It is stated that we expect the community to be involved, work with us, help in developments, none of that happened. The only two times it did, one guy got hacked and never posted in here again, the other ran away with the money we paid him. Even now, you're the only person who has posted in this thread over the past 12ish hours, how does look?

As we have said too, we never wanted to leave the coin to die, we want someone to take it over. As a community member, instead of complaining at us, maybe you could help us find people to take it over. Don't think we're not trying, we've been messaging people on twitter, but no one is responsive. As a whole nothing is happening in the altworld, and it cannot support us long-term.
