Hi Gloana, now only the backoffice working. I am creating the whitepaper, others working on the new webpage and the style of the new Bitcointalk ann, because I will soon close this one and start a new one with the new design and new features.

Swap is not officially started, so there is the swap page and that is working, but not many of you tried that so far.

About the deposit features, till the end of february I hope we can come up with our unique wallet, which is a multicoin wallet, and inside the wallet there will be options for one click deposit. Till then, after the swap will start I will create a video to explain how to deposit from parity of from myetherwallet.

The address and private key you will create is an Ethereum account address and private key. As GoldReserve will be a token on the Ethereum blockchain, you have to use and ethereum account to manage the XGR tokens.

And of course you will be given an old XGR address as well to where you have to send your old XGR coins. If you send them there, within 24 hours you will get the same amount in new XGR tokens to your ethereum account.

Yes, the contract already deployed, if you want you can swap now and if you know parity, then you can even deposit your funds (1 month 3%, 3 months 12%, 6 months 30%)

Here is an interesting fact from the whitepaper:

XGR coin has 17 million coins in circulation. If we calculate with this amount after the swap and we assume everyone use the 6 months deposits (69% yearly interest) then after 10 years there will be only 3,2 billion XGR in circulation.
It means XGR will be a rare token for a long time.

I would like to announce the official swap date after I got an answer from Cryptopia. I offered them our swap site for smooth transition of coins to tokens in the exchange. We will see what their answer be.

There won't be gold involved at the begining. The reserve will be in ethereum. In Q3 we will deploy a contract which will work as a decentralized reserve. I will fill it up with ethereum and if something wrong happens, everyone who own XGR can send it to the contract and change it to a certain amount of Ethereum.
Later, I may buy other assets for the reserve portfolio but Gold can not be decentralized as Ethereum.

And just to be clear, I did not announced gold and floor price for 2017. It always was february 2018 and only with the swap to a smartcontract.

Hi, thank you for your kind words! I am on a quest to make GoldReserve a well known cryptocurrency! However, nowadays, Exchanges are asking 2-3 BTC for listing a coin, which is a huge amount if you are thinking of listing a coin in multiply exchanges. So after the swap there will be one exchange then I will promote GoldReserve so some exchange may list us with a reduced fee or even free of charge.

I would just like to know if the coin is being sent for a listing on other exchanges because I've notice one exchange usually limits exposure and market cap.

Hi, if you already transfered your coins, then your private key is not holding any coins any more. But do not be afraid, fork will come in February, even before we reach the 1 million block.

The contract already deployed, I am only waiting for the response of Cryptopia.

I already transferred coins for the fork and now i read that it is postponed further above the block 1100000.

Can I now import a private key of a "new" pre-fork given XGR address to get my balance back in old wallet to continue staking?
