Please do not fall for scammers! There is only one official fork website, everyone should use that. I am not planning on collecting free coins!

Nothing to worry about, everything is as it planned! In February, the contract will be online. Before that you will get the whitepaper with the changes and the new webpage with the roadmap.

P.S.: Client is ok now you can check your balance...

So we can continue to stake xgr until February?

Yes, till the contract goes online, you have time to stake. After that, it is worth to use the 3 deposit types from the contracts, as they are giving you more interests.

I'm assuming that's a quote from the dev. So that's like 2.5m coins, worth $50k if you could dump all at once. So with not seeing a dump by now that gives some credence to the dev I suppose. Good to know.

Is there an expiration date when coins cannot be swapped any longer? Are we going to be able to swap after the token gets created? If a bunch of people don't swap, there's going to be a lot of tokens held again by the dev (unless they are sent to a burn address).

I will keep up the fork webpage for long enough after February that everyone have a chance to make the swap. So XGR coins will be going to a burn address, and TOKENS will be created on the Ethereum blockchain. I will swap the premine and immediately deposit it to the longest (6months) period. I may sell the interest, but I am planning to sell the premine only if the decentralized floor price distribution will be possible. (around 2018 Q4)

1. How is XGR backed by gold?
2. For every ';x' amount of coins how much gold is there backing it?
3. Does price fluctuation affect the amount of gold being backed?
4. Is there constantly more gold being added to catch up with coins being created from PoS?
5. What proof is there that the gold is actually there? Can we 'audit' you at any time? Also what type of security is there in order to prevent theft of this gold?
6. Is there any possibility in the future to trade 'x' amount of coins for 'y' amount of gold?

Not being a hater, just common criticism questions I'm sure other investors are curious about. I'd love to know more about this coin before I invest properly into it thanks Smiley

1. XGR is not backed by Gold at the moment. It is backed by 2000 USD equivalent of Corion tokens, 2010 USD equivalent in Bitconnect in active lending.
2. I will calculate the actual minimum price of 1 GoldReserve after the swap.
3. The amount (in any currency or asset) will grow over time, price fluctiuation does not affect it. Imagine it as the first coin which has a set (and ever growing) minimum price, which you can get any time you want to exit from the coin completely. Imagine the worst situation: XGR price on exchanges goes to 0. If it happens to any other coin, you are screwed, your investment is gone. With XGR, there will be a floor pice calculated according to the backup assets worth and the tokens in circulation. So even if the exchanges will give 0 for 1 XGR, you can get a certain amount if you are selling your coins to the floor price exchange. At the begining that will be through a website, but later, it will be smartcontract based, completely decentralized.
4. Yes
5. 3. answer
6. As I changed the asset backing a bit to be more uptodate and decentralized, Gold will be only part of the backup portfolio.

the given address, to "check your fork balance"
0xc08b5542d177ac6686946920409741463a15dddb

isn't seen on any eth explorer...

When will it be "online"?

and on this address we will see our new created XGR public address, where we have to send the coins?

or did i get something wrong  Roll Eyes

Hi everyone and HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Between Christmas and the New Year , I was on a tight schedule, visiting my family members.

So, first of all, the contract will be online only in February, so you will not see it on Etherscan before that date. The fork website is working now as a database. You send coins in properly and your new ether address and the coins sent in will be accounted. That will be uploaded to the contract when it will go online.

hmm i'm still keeping an eye on this project and have a small stake, but I am curious, has any major progressions been made since around october? i started my stake around the time of the corion ICO that would end up setting the floor price. I'm interested in investing a bit more in the future, but wondering about any tech advancements / how has the gold support been etc

I just want to check about the fork site as I created an account and sent 1000 XGR, which turned up fine :-)

I then used the same XGR send address and the coins have not turned up!

Can you only use the XGR send address once !?

Finally ! Thank you. It's been almost 1 year since i asked the dev in vain ...

Yup. The reason I did this is because I wanted to keep track of the coins sent for the token swap. I'm feeling like it's a little bit shifty, even though when I see other coins switching to tokens the same method is being used. The biggest red flag is that I don't see a token address. When I search etherscan I see this one: https://etherscan.io/token/0xa7a3de21f9505eaa8a4d34ae2d5497f8d5df35c2 which seems to correspond to the timing and amount. Dev, can you verify if this the correct contract?

There was also some talk about the coins that were supposed to be burned or are dev coins? Does anyone know that address? I can dig into the actual explorer if needed (only on local machine right now).
