Currently not a PoS coin (plans for it in the future), but an online wallet is available at https://poswallet.com . Any distributions will be paid out in the online wallet as well.

Having some issues with the wallet. I can't find any peers, though the chain looks healthy. Also I have to reload the entire chain every time I restart the wallet, this needs fixed.

Once or twice a week, our team will publish articles on GrantMarket about a charity or nonprofit organization, artist or musician, or other #grantworthy person or organization. Readers who are inspired to support them can click a button to send GRT through Twitter, or copy a specific wallet address and send them GRT using a Grantcoin wallet on your computer or smartphone.
Each article on GrantMarket will also have a Bitcoin donation button powered by Coinbase, and a PayPal button for people who wish to donate using U.S. dollars. Users who choose these options will be making a tax-deductible donation to the Grantcoin Foundation, and our organization will send the equivalent amount of GRT to your intended recipient.
Later this year, GrantMarket will also begin featuring socially and environmentally conscious businesses, and people will be able to spend Grantcoin to buy gift cards or coupons at those businesses — similar to a customer loyalty points program.
“We’re excited to launch GrantMarket because we believe it’s essential for alternative currencies to have a real-world purpose,” said Grantcoin founder Eric Stetson. “Our goal is to develop Grantcoin and GrantMarket into an economic network for social good.”

Thanks for your comment, we are excited for the next stages of Grantcoin, more things are brewing with an exciting 2016 to look forward too
. Anyway, very good question about Ripple Trade shutting down. Our team was surprised with the recent news of Ripple Trade shutting down but after discussion with our contact at Ripple labs it seemed inevitable, the ripple consumer interface is a tier below Ripple Labs to allow more focus on banks. We are already in discussion with GateHub and should migrate our wallets soon if all goes as planned. We will let you know as things progress but we are hopeful the GRT.Grantcoin asset will continue being exchangeable on the ripple protocol.

Good question. One of our team members is talking with the GateHub team to see if we can get Grantcoin supported on their Ripple wallet and trading platform. We'll update the Grantcoin community when we know more.

the Grantcoin Foundation is launching two new programs:
- GrantDrives: Grantcoin-branded bamboo flash drives containing a Grantcoin starter kit for donors. The starter kit comes with wallet software pre-loaded with Grantcoin and detailed instructions for how to use it.
- Cascading Philanthropy program: Matching grants for donors, to the charity of your choice. The Grantcoin Foundation will give the equivalent monetary value of your tax-deductible donation in the form of Grantcoin, plus free promotion for your favorite charity or nonprofit to our 4,000+ Twitter followers. In January we plan to launch a website called GrantMarket, where people can easily send Grantcoin microdonations to featured charities, artists, and other worthy recipients — and your charity will be profiled there too!
