So there will be a hard fork in the near future which is fine with me as long as this will fix the problem. I have seen in the past that Cryptopia can be a pain when it comes to hard forks/coin swaps and sometimes delists the coin so I hope that won't be the case for Ignition when the time comes.

Cryptopia got lots of troubles in the last few months. Hope that they will finally come back to good operation conditions.
It is in the top of this page and the announcements channel of discord. Nothing is certain though, and PoW Blocks have become much more stable. We are considering every option available before determining if, when, and how to change PoW to make it more consistently stable without being affected by large miners coming in and out (shifting difficulty too high, when they leave mining) -
It will be several months out from whenever we decide and move forward to a different difficulty algo or pow algo, as to ensure as smooth a process as possible.

Well to be fair you and your team are doing a great job with PoW/PoS and MN as not many coins can do this. There always seems to be issues when you have all three and that is why most switch to just PoS and MN. Maybe that could be an option in the future to phase out PoW? and just have PoS/MN.
