Glad to see a new version of the wallet. I will give me it a try later and post if I have any feed back.

Thanks for the update dev!

So there will be a hard fork in the near future which is fine with me as long as this will fix the problem. I have seen in the past that Cryptopia can be a pain when it comes to hard forks/coin swaps and sometimes delists the coin so I hope that won't be the case for Ignition when the time comes.

No problem. You can also find the same message in our #announcements channel on discord so you can always find current or recent notices fast and easily.

A few days ago we noticed issues with PoW blocks being processed,

Here is the latest update on PoW Instability:

PoW is continually getting difficulty spiked by large miners jumping in and out of mining IC. It's currently working *as intended* by the code, yet, the code is what is making an unstable block timing for PoW with the onset of large fluxes of these miners, and we can't do anything about it until the update of difficulty retargeting algorithm, which will be a hard fork, and we are working to make process happen as smoothly as possible.

Due to the fact that exchanges will have to update as well as a majority of the network, and pools, and not being required for the chain to continue processing, it will be at a safe distance checkpoint  1-3 months of blocks in the future, from whenever the update is ready, before activating.

Proof of Stake & MN's are not affected, and all other aspects of the network are still working fine, though average block timing is still higher than usual, and PoW block time is very high. Due to the instability block rewards are mostly going to PoS blocks while the PoW blocks come and go as the network manages to find more difficult blocks than expected. All transactions continue to process, etc. and have become more stable since the issue became noticed, but clearly is not where we'd like it to be still.

If your not mining $IC with ASIC or GPU, you can probably disregard this update. Otherwise, just know that PoW blocks have very high difficulty, and will continue to be until we process the changes to the code necessary to resolve. No estimated time for this is established yet, but we will keep you informed.

Ignition Coin is a mysterious coin, but have been added to CryptoBridge, so it probably should be a good thing, what coins would be IC's competitors? How many coins are needed to run a masternode? I'll be watching. Smiley

There is a few competitors, some coins, like DMD, would be considered directly competing for SoV, Low-Supply systems. Others might include Bitcoin, but not many competitors in the MN/PoS arena as most PoS Coins have unlimited inflation, while IC will only mine fees (similar to BTC) after 5M Coins

Is there anyone actually mining this coin?
I like to know a pool that's working, finding blocks within the last 24 hours and paying out.

Folks, if you would like to get 0.1 IC for just a half minute work...

Tweet to https://twitter.com/kucoincom and ask them to list Ignition coin. Post ur screenshot or link here: https://discord.gg/DjGKT2G

I just got mine, let's push Kucoin to list IC!

Doesn't Kucoin use a voting system to get coins listed on there? If we can get Ignition coin on there for voting then that is when I think there should be a bounty. The dev could do something like 0.1 IC per vote which is something similar to what the Solaris dev did to get listed on Kucoin. And also have a lottery where everyone who voted goes into a draw to win a certain amount of Ignition like for example 50 coins. This will get a lot of people voting and hopefully it IC will win and get listed. It worked well for Solaris.

You are definitely right. As far as I know the devs already applied for Kucoin listing and went through the regular process, but no update since then. Kucoin seems to rather be interested in token listing Sad Hopefully these tweets will help to first get IC on the voting list, then the next step could be another bounty for those who will also vote.

Okay, that is great to know so hopefully Kucoin will list Ignition for voting in the next round of votes as the current round still has over 6 days to go. I decided to also make a tweet to Kucoin for them to list Ignition for the next round of voting so I hope they listen to us. It will be tough to get listed as it takes a lot of votes but hopefully we have enough community power to make it happen as it will benefit Ignition a lot being listed on there.

they look at other people, be it friends or relatives, but they can be anyone in the internet, with the salutation that will earn a lot of money, so they are so blind.

A very strange thing to do. You had to play a lottery, there would be more chances to win the prize.

I am curious as to why there aren't many MN's on the network?

The price for one maybe?

Seems like this is a legit project compared to many other MN scam coins out there.

I'm still deciding on whether or not to pull the trigger and scoop up a node  Cool

I think now so cheap anymore. but rewards are nice

The number of MN is a function of total coins and the number of coins required to have a MN.  Right now 33% of the circulating supply is a MN.  DASH has 59.5%, PIVX has 37%, and SMART 12%.  So we are among good company, and acceptance rate.

The ROI for IC is in a good range considering our volume and cap. We will see some MN holders sell off, while others increase their positions to retain the same % stake of total supply while at our current inflation rate.  These sellers will continue to have less to sell as more MN come online.  Once the quartering occurs, even way less.

This is a golden time to be jumping into IC.  Be prepared for mid-term hodl and stake, and IMHO you will be very happy.

I agree 100%, Also we should take a good look at that IC chart as it looks like the coin is in consolidation right now so I think its a great time to pick up some more IC before it starts to break out. I have been selling off some stakes I get from a couple of high APR staking coins and picking up IC each week to increase my position and work my way up to owning a MN.
