It may not immediately take over Google Play Store but definitely it will gain some traction and hopefully that it will slowly rise to a certain degree to pose a threat on Google Play Store, just like how bitcoin did to the world right now.
Google has a strong footprint leveraged in the Android operating system.
However, today the power to pre-load an App Store in the phones is with OEM Manufacturers.
They decide which app to highlight in the front screen.
In the AppCoins protocol, giving a revenue share for OEMs are important.
In India, manufacturers like Xiaomi, OnePlus, Oppo and Vivo are very important. If the adopt the protocol and ship store, I predict a huge growth of $APPC.

Althought the AppCoins team had done a good job, I find every projection very futuristic.
Is very difficult to analytically predict the price of a coin with such instability.
What I see is that Bitcoin, as a store of value, will not have the same returns as a coin that is being launched, like AppCoins.
In the case of AppCoin, I see the potential around being a standard in the industry.
Cryptocurrencies will play a major role in the future for making transactions easier and more efficient. In the app stores, I think we are just in the beginning.

Appcoins protocol itself (the ability to use appcoins to transact) is "free" for devs and appstores to adopt, but the appcoins in the system wont be free but an actual blockchain token with a valuation

I think this is apriceless information, with so much scam in the space one need to be very sure of where you are sending your fund to and the source of the address you are sending it to. the amount scammer raised when people start sending ethereum to wrong addresses during Coindash ICO.
