Do we receive the actual tokens during the pre-sale ?

After validating as an eligible user of the pre-sale, you will need to transfer the Ethers from your Ethereum wallet. These Ethers cannot go over $5.000USD which is the cap for small investors during the pre-sale.
After transferring the Ethers, you will receive a confirmation email saying the amount transferred and the number of AppCoins that you are entitled to. You don't receive yet the ERC20 Token AppCoins because it will be only issued on the Sale.
In the first minute of the Sale, all pre-investors will receive automatically the correspondent tokens that they bought in the pre-sales and were stated in the email received from AppCoins servers.

The developers can cash out / withdrawing.

Technically, how can the developers can cash out and not the users ?

The developers can cash out anytime. Since AppCoins is a ERC20 token that will be listed in the different exchanges after the ICO, they can sell or buy.
When a user earns AppCoins by installing a game and providing 2 minutes of attention to the game,  the coins received requires a multi sig to be used.
The two signatures in the multisig of those coins are from the app store and from the user. When the user wants to buy something inside a game, both the user and the store need to sign the transaction. If the user wants to cash out, they don't have the store signature to sell in the exchange, so it's not possible.

There's one thing that I don't understand. You claim this coin is a circular economy. But what is stopping developers from withdrawing the coins Huh

The developers can cash out / withdrawing.
They have an incentive to re-invest in advertising but that's up to them.
It's expectable that they cash out because that's how they make revenue. So the flow is: they first invest by doing advertising and then they cash out.
The cash out is done through an exchange.

How will this help any app developer ? can someone tell ?

Android Developer's today have two types of problems: 1) Advertising is inefficient 2) They don't reach other app stores besides Google Play.

1) Advertising (typically using the CPI - cost per install) is inefficient because there are a lot of intermediaries like Attribution / Tracking platforms, Ad servers, CPI networks, SSPs, DSPs, RTB exchanges,...
The blockchain doesn't replace all those intermediaries but it creates trust between Developer-App Store-User that makes some of them no needed anymore. Without those intermediaries, and with more competition among app stores and OEMs, it's possible to have a different margins model, where the user receives 85% of the AppCoins investment in Advertising. Because the developer has to pay the advertising in AppCoins.
The user earns coins to install advertised Apps. As the user cannot cash out and must use those App Coins in In-App Purchases inside the games, the developer gets back the largest part of the Advertising investment.

2) Each non-Google app store (Aptoide, Amazon, Yandex, Opera, CaffeeBazzar) has a different API / SDK which makes difficult for the developer to integrate with so many different technologies. On the other hand, he has to collect the money from different backoffices and sources.
With AppCoins, he only has to integrate once and it works with every app store that supports AppCoins.
On the other hand, it receives directly from the user, and doesn't have to trust his money to the app store.

Total supply?
What is it 700,000,000 APC + Pre-sale + sale: 280,000,000 APPC  Huh

To clarify, in total, there are 700M tokens. From those, 40% (280M) will be distributed in the pre-sale (12% corresponding to 84M) and in the sale (28% corresponding to 196M). No tokens will be issue in the future.

The tokens are called "APPC". It reads "App Cee".
In the beginning, "APC" was used as a ticker but there was another token that used as well. It was later changed to "APPC" which is the ticket under what AppCoins will be listed in exchanges.

Is the Pre-Sale open or is only the white listing ?
Why is the white list needed and can I register in the white list ?

The pre-sale opens on November 6th, but you need to register on the white list first. In order to do so you need to be eligible.

Our pre-sale eligibility conditions identify four groups that will have exclusive access. They will also enjoy a 30% discount on the final pre-sale price. These are Aptoide Users, App Developers, Device Manufacturers and Strategic Investors.

You can find more info about the eligibility conditions on our pre-sale page: https://appcoins.io/presale.

How can an Android developer benefits from having app coins ?

An Android developer has two main financial transactions with the App Stores:
  • In-App purchases: where the app store is a facilitator of the buying of items inside the game. The added value of the store is to provide payment methods and knowing the users already.
  • Advertising: because the developer wants downloads / eye balls on their game

AppCoins protocol proposes that both flows use AppCoins as currency.

AppCoins provides the advantages of the digital currencies (security, traceability,...) but also the advantages of Ethereum smart contracts: the developer receives the AppCoins directly own their wallet. No need for waiting 30 or 60 days and have bank transfers with poor exchange rates.
On the other hand, by taking off intermediaries from the advertising flow, and providing 85% of the Ads investment to the user, the developers will have the assured return of investment, because the user has to spend the coins inside the games and apps.

I have just one more question. Will the tokens always be associated with Aptoide??

You will be able to use it in any AppCoins-compliant app store. Initially, the first store to adopt it will be Aptoide. Other stores should adopt it overtime, especially because this was designed to be a universal protocol. Hope this answers your question  Smiley
