Just to be clear, the EMT tokens are for fundraising only and it won't be necessary to use them to pay for accessing the server component in the cloud? Everything will be open source and local?
Amel has already answered this for the most part, but just to clarify:
The system itself will be free and open source. Advanced features (autoconfig, automatic mining, smart optimization) will be paid. EMT tokens will be used to pay for access to these "smart" functionalities.
And what will the advantage be over ethOS?
Better efficiency, more features, and very high level of automation at every step of the setup/mining process.
Today I saw that they had gathered for some sort of cryptoconference in Stockholm. Maybe there will advertise their project
That's right - tomorrow (Thursday, Sept 7) we will be at the
Blockchain & Bitcoin Conference in Stockholm. That's just the first stop - we'll be on the road most of September, attending blockchain-related events in a number of major European cities. We hope to generate more buzz around the easyMINE project and, hopefully, gain more supporters.
