Russia's Main Bank Creates Blockchain Lab

Yesterday the press service of Russia's Sberbank announced that it has opened a blockchain lab. The press release mentions, "mastering the latest technology is an element of the bank's competitiveness and an investment in its future as a tech company."
"Blockchain technology may substantially change many areas of business related to the financial market, classical banking and our clients," according to Igor Bulantsev, Vice-President of Sberbank CIB.
The laboratory is meant to "carry out investigations of the latest technology in the blockchain field, to formulate and suggest ideas for developing blockchain-based solutions, generate product prototypes and deploy solutions on this basis for Sberbank Group."
The company already has 20 blockchain-based pilot projects underway, working with the largest retailers in electronic equipment and state institutions to this end.
Sberbank's CEO German Gref is famous for his positive attitude toward cryptocurrency. Two years ago he predicted, "in the near future cryptocurrencies will enter our daily lives."
Gref also confessed to being the owner of a small amount of digital currency. He once purchased a t-shirt for 12 bitcoins, back when 1 BTC was worth $0.38.

Can tokens still be purchased?
The FIN token sale has ended. All the tokens (including additional ones from referral links or airdrops) will be issued over the course of the 30 days following the end of the token sale.

When and on which exchanges will the tokens appear?
FIN tokens will be available for trade on the Cryptonit exchange beginning in March 2018 for everyone but US residents. For US citizens the tokens will be exchangeable on Sharepost as of 2019 once the freeze period ends. By that time we will look at other licensed exchanges for non-US residents. The NOM tokens will also be on the Cryptonit exchange, and will appear on all the major exchanges in 2018 since they aren't frozen. As of January 2018, listing agreements have been reached with Tidex and Yobit, and negotiations are well underway with Huobi, Bittrex and other exchanges. Since other exchanges are involved in the process, we cannot at this time provide a specific date for the listing, as all the technical and legal issues must be addressed. As soon as the dates become known to us, we will publish them in our communities and all our social media websites.

How can tokens be withdrawn?
Over the course of 2018, FIN tokens will be fixed in the investor panel or on the Cryptonit exchange.
You will be able to withdraw NOM tokens from your wallet once they are issued at the end of January. This will not happen automatically, as a means of preventing them from being issued to the wrong wallets or exchanges. Investors will be able to manage their tokens themselves. Detailed instructions on how to do so will appear in the near future.
