In terms of the project's idea, Loci with their blockchain based patent platform looks very interesting. The team is relatively big, with many experienced people, so there is a high chance they will successfully deliver the platform.

Myth: As the Airdrop tokens are being distributed, the new owners are sending those tokens to the exchanges and selling them at market price. This causes the LOC token price to dump.

Correctness: Wrong

Explanation: We have completed the KuCoin Airdrop distribution and distributed around 45,000 LOCs for this purpose.

When analyzing the publicly viewable wallet data on Etherscan, you can clearly see that more than 90% of the airdrop wallets remain untouched since the distribution has begun. See: token holders (especially number of token holders)

We will continue to observe this metric over the next few weeks, but do not expect to see significant changes.

This means, that less than 10% of the wallets were touched. 10% would equal to around 4,500 LOC. We know that many people are moving them from the marketplace wallet to their main wallet instead of selling them. Estimating them to make out half of the wallets that were touched, only 2,250 LOC would have landed on exchanges.

On average, there are more than 50,000 LOC combined buy orders for a drop of $0.1 on all exchanges combined. And those get refilled over time. Assuming the 2,250 LOC were sold instantly and at once, it would move the price only $0.005 (or half a cent) when linearly interpolated.

We expect similar results for the Airdrop 1.0 distribution.

I think LOCI actually has a great exchange, which is KuCoin but the transaction volume is still low, so this is not about exchange but products and promotions.
