This is a very promising project. I really like the solution that you are focused on . Having an exchange with 300 cryptos and 16 fiat is what users need, because it will make cryptocurrency transactions easier and it will improve for sure the usability and mass adoption. I hope u succeed and I'm thrilled to use your exchange .

I like the direction at which this project is towing. It's one thing bringing out a project and it's another thing implementing it. This by far is one of the very feasible and realistic projects out there. It's definitely going to be a success. Weldone to everyone who's worked hard to make this come to pass and to all those who are still doubting and contemplaiting, Now is the right time to join. There is no regretting it.

Also, I'd like to point out that security is priority for Nauticus. Our wallet technology incorporates state-of-the-art security measures including two factor authentication and biometric authentication using smartphone fingerprint sensors, voice and facial recognition. We also offer compartmentalized wallets (cold and hot wallet) protected by multiple layers of encryption. The company is implementing protocols for Nauticus staff to ensure segregated human responsibility, approval, and audits. We will further develop our security suite of options to include more biometric (using Voiceit), multi-signature access for couples, partners or teams (using Bitgo), and active backup of all transactions using a hyper-ledger.

1st: the exchange is going to launch in August 2018 ;-)
2nd: it's very important to note that we have put a lot of emphasis in protecting our backers, and one of the protective measures is related to what you mention about being able to trade immediately upon launch. One **very** important fact needs to be stated here:

As stated on page 37 of our whitepaper, purchased tokens can be traded immediately on our Nauticus exchange once it launches in August. However, free, gifted and referral tokens are restricted to our platform only (for example for use in trading fees) for a period of 2 years after the ICO. After this period, they can be freely exchanged for fiat or other cryptocurrencies. 🎁 

🚫 This is to prevent large volume of free tokens immediately to be traded upon the launch of our exchange, and letting the REAL contributors suffer. This is a way of weeding out people who are only attracted to the referral program to make a quick profit and are not really interested in contributing to the project.
