I don't get the particular term of this ICO which states that all funds raised wilk be moved into the lottery. Does that mean that PLAY token wilk not be traded on exchanges?

90 % of the raised sum will be kept in the smart contract as a lottery Jackpot. Tokens will be assigned to the ICO backers during the ICO immediately after they send funds to the smart contract.

Im not tech savvy in the slightest

Is there any way the person who created the smart contract can withdraw funds themself?

No, the fund management rules are described in the white paper. The funds are under smart contract management and the rules cannot be changed.
The Investors funds and lottery winners payouts are always protected and nobody can access the funds.
Please see the Whitepaper
if you have any questions please feel free to ask!

So to clarify the only was for eth to exit the smart contract is for somebody to have winnings which will automatically trigger a withdrawal to the relevant address?

There're more cases in which ETH stored in the smart contract can be withdrawed:
1. Lottery winning - lottery winner may withdraw his winning from the smart contract
2. Affiliate payments - during the ICO Affiliates will receive 5 % of the contrubutions that were made using their affiliate link also they will receive 1 % from the tickets sales from the ticket bought by the players using their links
3. Dividends - Every month Token holders will receive dividend proportionally to the number of their Tokens to the total Token supply. 5 % from ticket sales will be allocated to the Dividend fund.
4. Marketing - Admin will be able to withdraw 0.25 % from the Jackpot for the marketing purposes weekly but only if the Jackpot Value is higher than the value of all Token redeem value and winnings value.
5. Token redeem - Token holders will be able to redeem Token and receive most of the invested funds back.
6. Lottery closing - if over 50 % of the Tokens will be redeemed Admin will be able to withdraw surplus from the Jackpot over all lotttery liabilities.

Please see the Whitepaper where funds management scheme is described in details

It's a smart contract address to store the funds received during the crowd sale and only some will have restricted access to withdraw the funds. The smart contract is usually audited before the ICO is started to check for any leaks.

Some blockchain expert should try to crack this contract and let investors know if it is good.
The prize for hacking the smart contract is enough high (1500 ETH) to attract some skilled people to try and break the smart contract.
If the funds will remain intact after 2 weeks the contract will be proven safe.

i had read your project and i think this is good project but i would like to ask:
Ethereum account that you use to recieve and send payment is held by escrow or Dev team
if i hold this token what profit will i get in the future?

It is a smart contract. I recommend you read whitepaper to get full understanding of how payouts and transactions look.

There is also a rough estimate on projected earnings.

The funds are under smart contract management, the funds management scheme is presented and well described in SmartBillions White paper. If you have any questions regarding the smart contract feel free to ask.
