News about reserve:

We have decided to keep that until the launch of our MVP and then we will burn it, unless free market cannot provide enough liquidity to support crucial functions of the Soma ecosystem.

So, does this mean that you are going to sell those tokens if the market has enough liquidity? And if you can't sell you'll burn them? Please tell me that i have completely misunderstood this sentence.

thats what i thought too. at first glance it really sounds like that way, but why?!?!

hope they will burn them and not use them for mvp or whatever...

There should be no problem with the liquidity ...

Yes, you keep saying that but the fact is that the huge majority of tokens are in the hands of the angel investors (around 90% if I remember correctly). So what happens if these investors don't wanna sell their tokens?!

We will see once the project hit exchanges, but I never saw a problem of liquidity.

If there is a lack of liquidity, then the price would rise, and then investors would have a larger reason to sell, and thus increasing liquidity
To have liquidity in the market then it is necessary to burn tokens and investors should trade on the exchange.

for me it was not clear that the majority of the community ?voted? (where is the vote?) was not against it. neverthless, i dont remember seeing an official vote to it or something like that.

still i am against that concept.

There was NO vote! There was a topic on this thread asking the community about there thoughts.
There were a lot of reply's and I made a summary from everyone, good and bad reply's.

The devs made a decision based on those reply's!
Just go back some pages.

If you want I can post that summary from everyone who replied! The majority of the users were positive.

I think I gave a balanced reply before. Companies on traditional markets can release new shares and buy them back all the time, not breaking new ground there. But cryptos are not exactly comparable to those companies, so the effect of a liquidity reserve is uncertain.

Yes soma team is really busy during the ico its normal, not easy to manage. Remember that they have a new community manager, it will continue to improve the communication with the community and he is a part of the soma team now.

At least they demonstrated that they're called SOcial MArketplace by listening to the community. Still no answers on when closed beta will be out though
A lot of us is waiting for that beta. I'm sure they are working on it but by some reason they can't say an exact date. That's probably because they don't even know it.
The team still focus to this ico, after that maybe they still busy for distribution token to all participation. So i think  many task must be done and everything can't be done at once. Maybe after this ico ends and all token already distributed the team will focus to develop beta app
right! Everything is good in its season. ICO organization is not an easy task, I sure that now - SOMA team works at full power, and will do everything possible to complete it. and later they will follow the road map and everything will be fine!

Now soma has a community manager, the communication was not that bad before that but now it will be much better. I think soma team listen the community a lot, just look, about the question of a liquidity reserve, they prefer to ask us before make a choice.

yes, they did ask us and even the majority of the ppl where against a "not burning the rest of the token" and against the "10% token reserves for mvp" and bla

but, still they insist on doing the reserve token shit and selling the tokens on their site after the ico...

this is just making an excuse in asking the community, but still doing what they wanted to do.

Let me remind you that the tokens will NOT be for sale on there site after the ICO.
If people who bought SOMA will use it on exchanges, devs will never sell one token from that reserve and will burn as soon platform is launched.

The reserve will only be used when platform is online and users who are willing to use it arent able to buy tokens on exchanges. Then they will sell tokens from the reserve. Why? Just to let users use the functions on that platform.

Dont say things that already have been cleared out!

Thanks, that seems totally logical to me. Investors don't hold indefinitely, except is their contract force them to.

As far as I remember FIEX told us that the majority of us want the 10% reserve instead of burning all unsold tokens

Yes, I think most of us were the opinion that a reserve can be reasonable because angel investors hold the majority of tokens.
i agree fully since there a majority shareholder, "the angel" would be better for all to counterbalance by not burning token but keep them as a reserve...

That's very great from them. I think most project should do it in that way. I think the community really likes it to have the chance to decide about the future of a coin.

I don't see a problem if the main investors have a high percentage of the coin. If they don't dump it will only lead to an increase in price.

I think it is better to have a big main investor. If they dump it they will lose a big amount of money so they will wait for some development to do it. I don't expect them to dump at least one year. When the price and the market are big enough, they can dump, if they do it before, they hurt themselves.

If I recall correclty angel investors can't sell their tokens for a long time (maybe 12 months ?). Yes haxllega, increase in price, you're right, the platform to work doesn't need an "increase price" but many SCT circulating in it
