Te-Food’s customers are some of the biggest grocery chain/farming companies in Asia. Very few blockchain projects have a customer base as strong as Te-Food. Tracking food at a cost effect manner is one of a big use case for blockchain technology and i believe this project has a good chance of being successful.

This project is moving under the radar the team is developing this platform for mass adoption. They have wonderful vision and doing this job with great spirit surely it will become more hot in future and that is the reason why it make me think this is hidden gem.

Easy by easy every single thing is being covered by traceability on blockchain by Te-Food and this makes it different than previous attempts if there weer any. A single food product was main focus of some but Te-Food is covering from vegetable to meet. Who can show patience here is that who will make more profit for holding these tokens.

I see on TE-FOOD's website that they handle 400,000+ transactions a day. Are these all handled on TE-FOOD's blockchain or is some of it off chain?
Currently it's off-chain (cloud database).

It's most likely going to stay closed source given this is a company building their own chain and it will be a source of income. From a business perspective there's no real advantage to going open source other than making it easier for your competitors.

TE-FOOD is a prominent project that clearly identifies traceability traits of fresh foods. Why does the project focus on developing countries? To achieve this goal, the project needs to involve many stakeholders. How do you attract partners?

Partners are attracted by the reference. The Vietnam implementation is the largest farm-to-table fresh food traceability system on the world, and still it grows.

TE-FOOD is closed source at the moment. No current plan to change it.
