KahnChat project is a similar concept with the app in India (PayTM) and in China (WeChat). If you have friends from India or China, they would love to share with you how easy the app they have.
Of cause, there are people prefer to wait till the app is ready before get involve and some people foresee the potential of the project will get involve before it ready. We respect every support and welcome all supports during this development phase.

One of the co-founders Dr. Ulrich Hatji suggested to use 'Kahn' as it is a similar pronunciation to another co-founder surname 'David Kan', here comes to KahnChat.

Thanks for the answers. But it means that you don't have the actual talks with the merchants as of the moment. I'm looking at this stage that you have at least 5 merchants that you already communicated with. Though you said that your app has been operating already, you need actual collaboration with them to receive their actual feedback of your platform.

This is a bit of different than the traditional card machine where merchant needs a card machine to accept Visa or Master card because everyone has at least a debit card.
KahnChat is a mobile payment feature where merchant do not need a card reader (small merchant) but just their mobile phone. There is no cost involved for them like the traditional card machine. For the large orgainisation, we have the plan to offer them the solution to accept our mobile payment without the need to replace their current POS system.
Is it difficult to get merchant onboard?
The answer is "Yes" and "No"
"Yes" if the app has no users base, but we have a large number of users who interested in our app features and project idea. You can check out our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/kahntechltd/ for the number of users likes our posts, videos, and the page about the project idea.
"No" If there is users base and offer low transaction fees to the merchant. No merchant wish to pay a high transaction fee for accepting card payment, the lowest fee they can get the more profits for their business. Traditional payment processor or card machine charge 1.5% to 5% per transaction fees. KahnChat payment system plan to charge only 0.6% per transaction fees.
How we get the user to start using our app when we launch it?
This is why we need to raise fund through Initial Coin Offering. There are plenty of solutions to increase user base, the only matter is the financial support. We set 50% of our raised fund for our marketing and promotional budget. The world gameplay was changed, the success not only because of a good idea or a good app but a strong financial support and user base is the key to a successful business. With the fund raised, we can have more engineers, contractors, partners to make the app features faster. Development cost monies in wages but not as huge as the marketing expenses. With the support of the users, buyers and investors, we can have the app launch as per our schedule.

The social media app is planned to launch worldwide, this means the user in any country can download our app from App Store or our website for android platform.
The mobile payment will follow later after the launch of Social media app in the EU as mobile payment require financial licenses in most of the country. We are in plan to apply for the Payment Institution license in one of the EU country after the ICO closed, this will allow us to provide mobile payment service, website payment processor in the 28 EU countries.
We will then apply for the financial license in other non-EU countries for mobile payment for fiat currency but the Cryptocurrency wallet should be available to every country as long as the country does not have special regulation to stop or prevent their citizen to use cryptocurrency.
