I've thrown some hash at this just to try and make sure it at least works if people download it but I'm not sure if there's something wrong on my end or the network. I've found a 4-5 blocks but they all get rejected. I have 5+ connections in my wallet and since a block hasn't been mined in quite awhile, I assume I'm the only one mining so I'm really clueless as to why I'd get rejects. I even set cgminer to log my shares and tried submitting manually using submitblock in the console but it says rejected as well. Also tried setting up a p2pnode but it keeps saying my rcp port is wrong and all the other p2p nodes seem to be down. I've had no problem getting tekcoin and bitcoin p2p set up on my computer but this has so far evaded me. I was hoping if I could point my hash at a p2p node I might get better results.

I'm alive and well.  I'm at a loss as to what else I can do to keep the coin going.  My PSU recently died on me, however I just picked up the replacement just now and I have 500 GH/s pointing towards eCurrency again!

Suggestions anyone?

Pure POS on some block.

But it looks completly dead.

Diff adjustment sux, we have block every block every 1-4 hrs like 2 weeks now.
We need hardfork to some every block or top 5 blocks adjustment.
See on exchanges, no one even trade it at 1-2 satoshi, where "real" value should be like 2000sat.

I don't disagree.. I'm working on getting my miners to mine ISO.  I'm having the most difficult time with them, because they're not allowing me to connect to them via a browser or SSH, yet the remain mining Bitcoin for me, but I can't change any settings.  I've hard reset them as well.. I'm sure I'll get something figured out in the next day or two because I'll have more time to mess with them.

It should be forked and I'm not going to beat around the bush.. we all know it was made by Coingen, it's a product of flaws so if someone can fork it, update it, we would welcome it granted it's in the common interest of everyone.

I've been searching out businesses to accept ISO and have found some who are.  So, I'm currently negotiating with them in details of how to more or less get them on board to actively take ISO and for them to in turn be a merchant who can accept this within reasonable conditions.

So my hands are full currently working with these companies who need understanding and implementing ISO into their payment systems so that they can start accepting it.  Since, it's not set in stone and 100% yet, I'm reluctant to say anything as of yet, as we're still in very early stages of everything.  But once there is a full commitment then, we should be able to iron things out within a week or two time.

I have 14 connections, where only one is outgoing.
IMO setting port 8080 as default is not good thing...
Try change this in your cofig to something that is NOT blocked by many routers/firewalls. And use UPNP/port forwarding if possible.

You can use any port number you'd wish, as it's just a Peer-to-peer port.  I've tested this with about 6 different random ports and they all worked fine.  Minimum connections I've had on any given port was 8 connections.

Thanks for that feedback rav3n_pl.  8080 can not be a good thing, however, sometimes other countries using port 8080 might be a good idea depending on their proxy settings or need to use a port that isn't monitored so heavily since it's a common port number.

Good to see blocks getting mined. Client shows 7 connections to the network too.

Remove the addnodes in your config file.  The discovery is working quite well.  I am connected to 17 others.

Also, in addition.. I'm in talks with various businesses as of this moment that is extremely beneficial to not only E-Currency but also the businesses themselves.  I don't want to say anything yet as nothing is actually set it stone at this current moment, however things are looking quite promising and if this turns out the way it's planned; we'll should see a dramatic increase in interest in ISO.

These services offered by these companies could possibly generate a few hundred dollars USD in the first month or maybe close to 1k USD.  As the word travels, along another niche community such at Bitcointalk.org, this community will probably adopt this currency if it holds place and the services offered by this community will more than likely open arms to the currency and we could be looking at 5-10k USD monthly if not more.  Optimistic, I know.  However, being in that past industry, I know the possibilities of offering this to them and as long as we keep marching forward we will achieve the goals set in place.

Do you have a bounty for a mac wallet?

Yes, we do.  Send me a PM for information if you're interested.

Haven't had a block mined in nearly 24 hours. I don't know much on how the programming behind these work, but I think the difficulty should be adjusted quicker if possible. Transactions take 6 confirmations and confirmations taking possibly 24 hours isn't going to work. Got off to a good start and hope this can be modified.

I am back to hashing, throwing another ~300 GH/s to the currency.

To everyone: There has been a set back with the development of E-Currency, but not for good.. I was just hit by a freight train of sickness and today's been almost the first day I've not felt as stiff as a corpse.  Sorry for my absence, I'm back feeling a little rested.

I hope to hear of some ideas anyone may have for the betterment of the currency?  PM or email me!

Thanks,
Adaryian

Got my VPS back, so I`m currently running 3 P2pool ISO nodes:
http://p2pool-eu.gotgeeks.com:9179
http://p2pool-us.gotgeeks.com:9179
http://rav3n.dtdns.net:9179
All are 1% fee.
Last one is my home machine, so it can crash any time (my energy supplier love to do 1-10s break in energy from time to time killing all my electronic devices in home).
Pool code: https://github.com/Rav3nPL/p2pool-rav
Keep coin decentralized, mine on own P2pool node or use one of pubic ones Smiley
