Decided to change the hardfork date to the 13th.  The programmer that is hired will be more than likely completing the rest of the code tonight.  It needs to be reviewed and also tested.  Along with that, there will need to be a Windows Executable compiled and ready for the public.  So that is why the extra day push off on it.

I provided the above fix for the mininginfo not working. I'm also the person referenced in adaryian's previous post. I'll provide a signed message from the address listed on my account as proof that we've agreed to my work for tips. We haven't arranged any upfront payment and I'm doing this only expecting him to pay for work received if he feels it is worthy of payment.

Code:
1PandasxwEdjJ9F9ebzqYrZAqCBF8dyoZ5

Working on E-Currency - starting 3/11/15.

G8s5a5SHYXN9NW3GBknmAvjsZ3tvCzbx6RilBPmU66gNFq+KYZjOuEZOh5+2N0adisXjk5hdtOEmV9zmUUuTTS0=

About to begin work on fixing the ports issue. Thanks.

EDIT:
1CFCVBWN8vtThuzmRBA9JyR1bZ6XFFAhnD

Above is the E-Currency address I will accept any payments from, for transparency.

I am also stating that the above is all correct.  Any transfer of coins to this address from my own personal address will be paying for ncsupanda's time and efforts involved with the work involved.

As anyone can see, my address is located here: http://blockexperts.com/iso/address/1Mj6oUNw2szaqnz4GZpnwZKD7AxZRn9XH4

So if you see a substantial amount of ISO moving from my wallet to the address given by ncsupanda being "1CFCVBWN8vtThuzmRBA9JyR1bZ6XFFAhnD" will for his work, not to an exchange.  Just stating this for complete transparency.

Nice man :-)

Yup.  Both nodes I run have the updates Ecurrency client running.  But really that is the only new update for it thus far.

I will update the .conf file shortly.  A few extra commands gives me 16 connections.

Hardfork Update

Update #1

Block #32,256 is right now NOT the hardfork block number.  The programmer who is helping with the coin will be working on it tomorrow.  So tomorrow we'll know more exactly on what block number the new client will no longer accept the old clients data once the programming is finished.   There has been some updates to the src on github but mainly splash screen and icon related items and fixing the network hashrate as it was set to 0 but now will display the correct global network hashrate.

What will be included in hardfork?

As of right now:

- Splash Screen Update
- Icon Update
- Command fix for: getmininginfo, gethashespersec
- Block Spacing to be moved from 10 minutes to 3 minutes as originally planned.
- Default listen port to be changed from 8080 to 8078.  rpcport will remain the same as 8079
-EDIT- New addresses will start with an "E" and not a "1" as well moving forward.

If there is anything else that anyone can think of that needs to be addressed please let me know.

Need suoernova and minerspool to add a couple pools as well .

I'm all for it!  I'll be announcing this in another reply post but we will be having a hardfork coming very soon.  Updated GUI and the block spacing will be set to 3 minutes and not 10 minutes.  Halving is still the same at 420k.  The default listen port will be changed from 8080 to 8078, the rpcport will remain the same at 8079.

The hardfork will make it so you will need to update the client by block 32,256 which is approximately 4,100 blocks away.  At the current rate of mining it's about a week or more.  With as new as the coin is still it really shouldn't be too big of an issue.  Will update the blockchain explorer to make sure to update the client once the new version comes out, along with any pools running the software...

I will make sure everyone is in on the loop for this and update the thread once it comes out.  Mostly just cosmetic updates, nothing serious and putting things back how they should of been originally.
I'll hit up minerspool to see if he will make a pool for it.

Sounds good man!  Appreciate it!
