They really should bring back this coin, since most coins from 2014 are getting re-released. Would be perfect for casinos. I remember mining this back in the Summer 2014 and hitting the Jackpot.

yeah, it was a pretty nice coin. It paid my complete 5 x Ti750 mining rig and power costs for a full year Cheesy Never hit ROI so fast. But I'm not sure if this coin can be revived, even with a fixed wallet.
There are currently just too many coins out there.

Im stuck with 16408 blocks left with 2 nodes on the network. Can anyone with a fully synced block chain post their nodes for me?

Edit: I got it to start moving by using the 1.6 wallet instead of the 1.4

Hi,

here is a dropbox folder with all downloads

https://www.dropbox.com/sh/bnrf6pf9bru2uii/AABlIHNjGnjd2gZI0O223M42a?dl=0

V 1.4.1 is recommended (less resource consumption)

Thanks a lot, you weren't kidding, 1.4.1 is definitely the one to run and I have a pretty decent computer. I almost have it all synced up thanks to the previous post with the blockchain.

Unfortunately, no, I wasn't kidding Cheesy

Would someone mind uploading a current windows wallet? It would be much appreciated.

I am rebuilding the explorer again.  Embarrassed

http://explorer.jpcpal.com

The site will be unstable until it finishes syncing.
Once it is done, I will upload the full chain data on the site for easy downloading as well.

Currently theses are some active nodes;
Some of them have the current block height while others are quite behind, but they are all active now.
Add them to your JackpotCoin.conf

Code:
rpcuser=user
rpcpassword=pass
rpcallowip=127.0.0.1
rpcport=15372
listen=1
daemon=1
server=1
logtimestamps=1
maxconnections=100
addnode=92.62.25.145
addnode=203.132.183.250
addnode=222.119.148.31
addnode=103.27.78.163
addnode=210.205.151.89
addnode=119.204.24.199
addnode=176.105.177.227
addnode=121.162.54.32
addnode=112.151.42.246
addnode=59.7.143.85

Thanks Atomrigs, you're a gem!

The explore is now fully synced!
Also I made a backup copy of the current blockchain data. If you want to sync quickly, download this file and replace it with your JackpotCoin folder.
Before doing this, make sure you backup your wallet.dat file first, and copy it inside the replaced JackpotCoin folder.
The backup data is about 3.3GB and the block height was near 3841800 and the date was 4-29-2016 11:50 AM EDT.

Also you can donate some JPC to support the explorer hosting services;

I speak: LT, RU, EN
so its not broken, its just slow?

It's not just "slow" - wallet is taking too much resources to sync. I would say that something is wrong with optimization... After sync, situation becomes better, but still takes too much of cpu time compared to other wallets.

Well guys, the place is vacant. I've moved on and cannot really be as active as I used to, but what is really needed is a competent dev. And there are still 50M available for the choosen one (in five times, 10M for each release, at least). I can give the social accounts to a willing person too.

Whats broken with jpc?

 i may chip in with some help to fix it

After a little more than a year it started using a lot more cpu resources to keep in sync with the chain, current jackpot, etc.  Still was fine on my i7, but it shouldn't take that much to sync.
