06/19/11 17:51 Bought BTC 259684.77 for 0.0101
November 06, 2014, 07:19:59 AM
It seems that ever since it went below 10 satoshis, there has been a concerted effort to keep it below that price.  I know some people just put in sells up in the 50-80 range and just left them there, but somebody has to be playing the long game and buying up cheap coins for plans down the road.  I refuse to believe people are stupid enough to keep adding to already high sell walls when we don't currently have whales throwing more than 1btc at a time.

I think with most coins people are smart enough to realize what is keeping the price down, but if people are just placing large sells on JPC hoping for someone to just buy them all up when crypto is in the volume slump it's in and while btc is down in value, I guess they're just noobs.

Hard to say for sure.  I agree with what you're saying though.  I see the same price "control" going on with MYR as well, and both JPC and MYR seem to have a solid future and dev team.  It also wouldn't take a very large whale to control coins with this small of volume currently.

the market is very stable

It's a good thing for normal people who believe in this coin, but I think it's bad for people who looking for coin for speculation (probably most people interested in the cryptocurrencies)

patience Wink

and the Faucet is working just got a pay out Smiley

i have been meaning to say i have been impressed with how fast it shows up in the wallet too HOLY CRAP !

I'm not going anywhere Wink

MOON !

True, the market has been surprisingly stable, and the rich list doesn't seem to be dumping at all. I really expect a future in this coin at this point. Not gonna lie, a few months ago I was worried

http://faucet.jackpotcoin.info/?id=35

that is my Link to the Faucet for free JPC coins every day.
if people want to click on it with my ref ID i can get an extra coin or two Smiley
90% of you know that already Wink

point is i use it well because i am broke LOL
no joke people always assume i got lots of BTC's ..i got nothing these days eh

i got like half the Faucet Balance right now i plan on saving long term staking for fun etc.
so i like getting a few coins every once in a while and i REALLY like the idea of doing it so i can help advertise JPC.
you can't beat free coins for an 'ad' LOL

it also helps to keep the pre-mine complainers at bay guys Wink

i mean at this point i think the JPC dev paid back his debt to society and is a free man now so the Faucet is a privilege not an obligation LOL

thanks.

when others went down we held at 8 NON stop for ages all along !
and when i went to buy more today i see it's up a point to 9

yes stable.. look at almost any other coin

Edit:
I also think the dev earned his premine.. with what he has done work wise + bounties etc.

There are enough jackpots to go around. Wink

A coin that is steady at 10 Sat can be used as a currency, just saying. Smiley

Can't get 1.5 version of wallet to sync. No network connections. Tried conf in OP still no worky. 1.4.1 works fine. Any suggestions?

If you don't get any connections after closing it and reopening it, try adding daemon and listen to the conf if they're not already there?  I got many more connections with one of those turned on.

listen=1
daemon=1

If you are coming from 1.4.1, you might have to BACK UP YOUR WALLET a couple times, then delete the blockchain, then delete/rename your wallet.dat, then open the wallet-qt so it can download a fresh blockchain, and then replace the blank wallet.dat with your old one and reopen 1.5.  (It goes slightly faster on a blank wallet.dat, that's why I suggest to redownload chain on a new one)  I remember myself and a few others had to do that back when it came out. Not sure what the issue was, but only some people had that problem.

reload it.. should work fine

i did that a while back and my wallet is been running ever since.. i see 16 connections it says eh
