same.. more than 2 days now. They say they are updating LEAF. it makes me think Cryptsy doesn't want us to sell.

I initiated the transfer when LEAF was at 16.. its down to 13 now. https://www.cryptsy.com/markets/view/148.

Maybe one shouldn't shuttle between Cryptsy and personal wallet.

Cryptsy probably has more urgent issues @ mind... like transaction malleability on BTC.

thank you again!
so i just need to update my leafcoind wallet and p2pool from Rav3n (you are using it? ) git repo and everything should work?
Yes, Rav3n repository should work fine.
I started with blixnood repo because of his front-end modification, but for now it seems that Rav3n repository is more updated with some patches from forrestv.
Anyway you can even get forrestv repository, replace /p2pool/networks.py and /p2pool/bitcoin/networks.py with ones from Rav3n, and replace /web-static/ with front-end modified by blixnood or this one (looks so) - it should work.

Maybe you'll find a good guide on setting Litecoin (or any Scrypt-based) P2Pool node - it will be helpful to make first steps correctly.
I used this one in Russian.

For anyone looking for a stable pool that's on the RIGHT chain, HashStrike has just added a LeafCoin pool.  We're just getting started and I only have my own miners on the coin at the moment, but more of our own hashrate will be coming in shortly.

  • 0% fees
  • Stratum / PPLNS
  • Dual Xeon server with tons of RAM
  • Experienced admins with other pools (Karma, MINT, and OnionCoin at the moment)
  • Support via Email, Twitter, and IRC

I am new here and learning.. What have you updated on your node? How do you know what to update Smiley when something happens?

How could I run my own p2pool without connections to other nodes? Is it possible to connect only some nodes to my p2pool, not all of them?
Thank you!
I updated Leafcoind - leafcoin daemon (without front-end), every node uses one to be in tune with leafcoin network.

"How do you know what to update Smiley when something happens?"
 - just read and learn Smiley
Basic info is here: https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/P2Pool
Here more on optimization: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/a-guide-for-mining-efficiently-on-p2pool-includes-fud-repellent-and-faq-153232
and also I try to watch for any news, patches, updates.
Here is a thread started by P2Pool developer: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/1500-th-p2pool-decentralized-dos-resistant-hop-proof-pool-18313

Here you can get P2Pool code with settings for Leafcoin in /p2pool/networks.py and /p2pool/bitcoin/networks.py:
https://github.com/Rav3nPL/p2pool-rav

"How could I run my own p2pool without connections to other nodes?"
You need to set "PERSIST=False;" in /p2pool/networks.py for Leafcoin and add "--max-conns 0 --outgoing-conns 0" in starting parameters.

"Is it possible to connect only some nodes to my p2pool, not all of them?"
Yes, you can specify them in starting parameters like so:
-n node1addr:node1p2pport -n node2addr:node2p2pport ...
and also add "--max-conns 0 --outgoing-conns 0" to not connect others,
but if they connected to others - your node will be connected to them indirectly through ones you connected - so it works like a large decentralized pool of nodes.
By default node try to find 6 nodes through IRC, and also waits connections from other nodes on p2p port (for Leafcoin it's 8166 TCP).

thank you again!

something is really wrong with P2Pool 1 - http://rav3n.dtdns.net:9166 - it is not possible to get any result on there.. tried local pool node.

is there anything that should be changed?..
This node seems to be not updated for now, this two looks like updated:
http://solidpool.org:9166/static/
http://taken.pl:9166/static/
(you can check other nodes in pool by yourself comparing the time to block, it should be as on this nodes)

My node is also updated, but now temporarily work without connections to other nodes, those acting as standalone pool:
http://leaf.p2nex.net:9166
I made my node standalone because I'm note sure if the right block's reward is granted also for miners on not-updated nodes of pool.

1-2 days and this should go better as nodes will update. You can help it by contacting operators of nodes you know that not updated.

I am new here and learning.. What have you updated on your node? How do you know what to update Smiley when something happens?

Thank you!

Do you specify nodes in the first place?
