Also a loads of blocks after retarget will go much faster as the momentum carries over, so we'll be there sooner rather than later.

after kgw it will not matter.

multipools decision making is automatic - low diff, traded coin -> mine, else, look for another coin.

The will not do that technically, cause it will be not profitable at this difficulty.
