I believe XLB developer is not the case.
Reasons:
1, he announced the addition of a forum ID him
2, he published one of his wallet, purse XLB unsold.

I think this is the same dev that abandoned summercoin a couple months ago.
There was a lot of talk in the old summercoin thread about the dev starting libertycoin
under a new name.
There are devs out there that revive dead coins, if any of you are not aware.
You can look to Summercoin V2 or Piggycoin for recent examples.
If it is the same dev sorry for your losses, hope you all have better luck in the future.

I lost a lot of money in LibertyCoin. I move out at 5000-6000 satoshi (loosing many BTC believe me) - and with the remaining of my stack I jumped in SilkCoin (average price 800 satoshi). Today SilkCoin is almost 5k sato, there is a wallet update today, a white paper friday, and devs are always on time and up to their words.
I say it here because I see many of you guys hoping to see the price go up an cut some of your lost - but sometime it is just better to accept the lost and move on. You are welcome in SilkCoin venture (or any other coin you believe in).

I like your optimism. However Mods like Gatti telling the investors in Libertycoin to choose an other coin, that won't help.
I am in many coins just as you all should be. I never told anyone to leave libertycoin for anything else, though. Where did you see this?

Multipool news
Please note the Libertycoin Multipool (http://xlb.multipoolmining.com) has been moved to a new server which can hold much more blockchains, which will improve payouts over time.
This could not happen without getting a new IP. Your miner should auto-connect to new server within a few minutes.
If you miner seems disconnected, refresh your DNS or point manually to 62.210.139.65 instead of stratum.multipoolmining.com
The stratum on the old server has been disabled, no shares are lost or 'empty' shares could be made. If your miner is working you are connected to the correct server!
