Anyway to get this second airdrop in a similiar way like the first one? Where you just sign a message proving ownership of the BTC address?

EDIT: Seems this was asked many times.

So is there a deadline to claim this airdrop or is it like CLAM where its your forever?

Why can't this claiming round be not done like the last round with signing a message?

too much work for the devs.

this way the coins are always there to be claimed and there's no more care taking needed. they got other things to be getting on with.

Got this week's airdrop yesterday. The stress-test was a very impressive feat, congratulations! However, I think a lot of people (including me) will not claim the distributed BTX in the near future. I was waiting for Segwit2x and planned to combine splitting of BTC (if necessary), and claiming Bitcoin Gold and BTX. Now with Segwit2x cancelled and the future of Bitcoin Gold uncertain I am reluctant to move all my BTC to a new wallet, and I do not want to expose my private keys without doing it. Anyway, the amount of BTC I hold and the corresponding amount of BTX is small. I suspect a lot of people have similar thoughts.

Why can't this claiming round be not done like the last round with signing a message?

I find it highly unpractical to move all my coins from one TREZOR to another HW wallet so that I can impirt my private key into the BTX wallet. As I have different Cryptos on my Trezor, I would incurr quite some TX fees. In addition I need to reshuffle my recovery seed backup and create a new seed. I find that too much of a hassle.

I will rather buy an additional few dozen BTX on an exchange to benefit more from the weekly 3% airdrops.

The difference between Bitcore and Bitcoin is only the block size?
larger blocks means less security, that's why bitcoin keep the block size low.. am i wrong in something?
Wrong about everything actually. Plenty of differences between BTX and BTC, larger blocks means more disk usage for full node operators in exchange for more transactions per block meaning lower fees. Has nothing to do with security.

but larger blocks means bigger blockchain, that means less nodes, that means less security..
There is a reson why bitcoin does not enlarge the block size, no?
Yes because it's a stupid trade off, does not scale well at all.

The 10+10=20MB block size is only theory to make it future proof.
Have a look at the Bitcore Block Explorer and you will recognize that currently the blocksize is only a few kB.

As long as the transaction volume does not exponentially increase, there is no increase in blocksize and the whole blockchain does not require mich storage space.

Yes sooo good. I'm super excited about this new listing on the chinese market. Also very impressed by the skyrocket volume on the first two day. Imagine what this can do in future for BTX volume.

Further to this success also mining BTX is super profitable at the moment.

Have you found the Yellow Sign?
Yes you can keep one weeks airdrop to pay to get listed im fine with that
me to!

I third this notion because one airdrop missed wont be a lot for us who are here but if you can utilize that one airdrop to convert funds so you can add us on another website that would be aces in my book. Is this doable even?

I ask because if the devs liquidate such a big amount wont that lower the price of BTX to a point that is undesirable for us?

I'd rather people with 100$ of BTX weren't posting here saying they don't want their airdrop. Real holders like me aren't giving up the main reason to hold this coin to give free money to a development fund that is already full of coins.

Preferably they would pay them in btx. That way, there is no liquidation needed and no major price hit, If the exchange keeps a portion of the btx and collects future airdrops for them selves as well Wink

"MIC DROP"

they have funds pouring out of their ass now so this stopping the airdrop to fund it thing is ridiculous.

and the above is probably right. exchanges need a pile of coins to sell anyway when opening the market, you can't open an empty one, so they'll get their btc from what's paid to them by early traders.

To miners: For support BTX you can mine another coin, sell it and buy BTX - more profit (SMART, XZC), more BTX price.

They'l have to liquidate btx either way. Be it from the dev funds or the airdrop btx.
But that is what the dev funds are for. Dev support, exchange and merchant fees, marketing, and so on and so forth.
