What do you mean by schemes toward senior members only encourage people to spam? Are you implying that all I'm doing is spamming and not bringing up a cogent point?

I think only making the airdrop available to certain status members of the forum, which has been suggested by some, is out of line. Just because I have only 8 posts doesn't mean I haven't been a part of BTX since it started or that people like me shouldn't be allowed to participate in rewards because we don't post a lot, or at all. I come to the forums a lot, but mostly just read and keep silent. I've rarely posted, but that doesn't mean I should lose any rewards for mining, holding or purchasing BTX. Ive been a dedicated miner since day 1.

A lot of these schemes targeted to Senior Members seem to be designed to encourage folks to spam.

Maybe a fed.
I've seen on blockexporer that now there is also the feature "largest wallets". Would it not be possible, in case you want to keep the top 1000 airdrop, to refer it to the wallets instead of the addresses? It is true that whales could split coins also between wallets, but at least they'd need one computer per wallet, and I doubt that anyone here qwns 100 computers  Wink

Perhaps I'm wrong but they only need 100 virtual machines or simply change wallet.dat file every time they start bitcore... doesn't it?

You are correct, just save wallet.dat as wallet2.dat and just edit it back every time.   Lots of work but yeah still doable

In the end you can always create a custom wallet by importing addresses from other wallets. There is no way to find out for sure what addresses each individual wallet controls

yes ,it would be possible to cheat in most cases
thats why the best argument is make it beneficial for a whale to keep all his coins in 1 address
and only take up 1 place from the top 1000
giving extra small %  incentive would stop people from wanting to split their balance up among lots of wallets

It is also quite possible most airdrops going to the dev team, but not others.

It was a very fair distributions. Based on BTC holding and after that is a fair game for everyone wants to buy more. Don't complain that you are getting less free airdrops than other big holders. That is not a good argument. If you want more free coins just buy more coins.

Bitcore (BTX) - The Future is Now
This https://c-cex.com/?p=btx-btc is really confusing. I just stumbled upon it by googling.
What's the normal solution for such naming conflicts, as crpytos have no official institution regulating abbreviations and names.
I didn't know the exchange until now.
And where does coingecko get it's data from?
https://www.coingecko.com/en/coins/bitcore

Since afaik cryptopia is the only place to trade btx at the moment, I can't figure out where they would get this data.

Is 2,5% per balance and 2,5 BTX per address Top 11-1000 a solution?

Kind Regards Christian

I'd like this approach! It would give more to those who are willing to invest but also some for the rest.

Hi,
Did the latest Airdrop start?

The latest airdrop was yesterday. Next one will be next monday.

I received mine in the last Airdrop. But did not get anything from yesterday..do I have to sign BTC again everyweek or it is just one time?
Just one time, as long as you qualify for the weekly/final airdrop by having coins in your own wallet.

I too would prefer that the top 1000 requirement be dropped. A minimum balance requirement to something reasonable is better. Maybe 10 btx minimum?

Is 2,5% per balance and 2,5 BTX per address Top 11-1000 a solution?

I would agree to that but please drop the Top requirements for now. 2.5% and 5 BTX for each address for the next one month or two will be a good outcome and bring lots of new members in the first two months. Then you can switch to the Airdrop based on the Membership as BITSEND did http://bitsend.info/forums/index.php?topic=155.0 starting with "Members". Thanks

thx for airdrop.
but it should be % of balance
I suggest 10% of balance every month. there is just a lot of BTX available and not claimed...
Also you should consider a bittrex listing.

10% montly is like 2.5% weekly, which has already been announced.
