Anyone found a fix to wallet crashing as soon as it connects to an node in win8?
This issue still doesnt seemed resolved, just tried the "latest" wallet. same shit.

I'm new to max. got few questions. my wallet won't sync. what to do? i downloaded it from official website. already added nodes what i find with search to maxcoin.conf but still nothing. and why it shows that it is mining even thou when i put cursor over mining symbol it says 0 hashes...

Let me first say, I'm a noob--to the cryptocurrency game! However, I'm good at following directions. I'm so so in my tech knowledge. Anyway, I finally figured out how to "activate" my Maxcoin wallet.
My question though is, regardless what miner I use, I don't see any progress on any pool that I use. Also, when using minerd I get all "boooos", no yays. I even tried asteroid, and it rejects 100%. I'm lost in what I'm doing wrong. I have successfully mined Litecoin dust (Lol) and Dogecoin shares. But can't figure out what I'm doing wrong with the Maxcoin.
Any help, tip, or even point towards the right direction, (and maybe startup funds--joking) would be appreciated!!!

I don't know if it was mentioned here before but gpu users should consider mine max " a la bitcoin style" not scrypt style.
Lowering your mem clocks on your cards will result in lower temps and less power draw and longer life for your cards . This way MaxCoin Keccak (SHA-3) > scrypt coins.
Mining sha-3 now is like a blast from the past when I was mining BTC with my 5xxx and BTC was 5$...
