FYI - Regarding ~100% cpu usage mining with cgminer, have to run old drivers or set it to run on one core only... found this on the net

windows can minimise it to 100% (instead of more than one core). Driver version
11.11 on linux and 11.12 on windows appear to have fixed this issue. Note that
later drivers may have an apparent return of high CPU usage. Try
'export GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS=1' on Linux before starting cgminer. You can also
set this variable in windows via a batch file or on the command line before
starting cgminer with 'setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1'

man, this launch was so bad (multiple times)! it really cheated people that were interested in the coin! hate that it is being pumped since it was so unfairly started.

1GH is still one of the best places to mine.
Fee is not important for me. Also Maxcoin network hash power falls to the deep see, 1gh's hash power stays the same! I like the stability of the 1gh.
p.s. ypool has 5% (REALLY HIGH!!) fee for ProtoShares (PTS), has 80% of pts network and people is not complaining about this! p.s.s. http://pts.1gh.com/ fee 3.5% !

That's the kind of PR drivel that Max is capable of. I own Maxcoin myself and any pump will benefit the miners who have this coin and have not yet sold. This however is pure BS.
Max coin developers should re-label it Marx Coin for the sheer amount of Utopian delusional ideology they are spreading..
we have invented a new system which is better than fractional reserve banking and better than Bitcoin.. do not be fooled.. it may look like Bitcoin and we may have even "borrowed" the source from them.. but this is a new system.. the ONE TRUE system...... be free from the oppression of greedy banks, be free from the oppression of the Satoshi Nakamoto and the Bitcoin foundation, join us in a new free market capitalistic system where everyone is equal but some are more equal than others... Max is our savior he will lead us to the promised land...
Ironically though.. the strength of the underlying Bitcoin protocol itself is what will keep Maxcoin from dying a quick and painless death... Just like any other pop culture phenomenon Max is likely to rise before it fades away into obscurity.
and when Maxcoin does finally fade away... those Maxcoin Pilgrims will become Bitcoin converts... so its not a complete loss for Crypto Coins in general.
seriously those people who think that Cryptos Like Max do harm to Bitcoin haven't noticed the damage that Mt Gox did to bitcoin.... Max is only a diversion, a source of amusement for the masses while we bide our time before BTC goes mainstream.
