fuckin shitcoin i will never buy a single one
This coin is a total failure:- developers never heard about testnet, and launched coin in real net
- released untested binaries, that simply don't run, because developers haven't ever heard about static linking
- they don't know how to make releases using github release system, and just push zipped binaries
- they don't know how to prepare source code for compilation, and then push unprepared code to repository (figuring out how to compile that code took me about 15-30 minutes, and I'm one of those "skilled nerds")
- think about all other people who wanted to participate in launch, and don't know how to compile code
- official pool "max.rocketpool.co.uk" is stealing maxcoins http://www.reddit.com/r/maxcoinproject/comments/1xcfu2/maxrocketpoolcouk_are_currently_thieves/
- the only pool that really worked (for me at least) was max.1gh.com until it was DDoSed to oblivion, and official twitter response: https://twitter.com/maxcoinproject/status/431571916764483585 - that it is a scam. You call that a good communitation between developers upon launch??

So much fun to follow this thread... I m amusing myself and laughing constantly. Hundreds of pages people asking how to mine. But yet again devs told us that everything is Kickin'. Max stop talking about crypto anymore. You destroyed your career with MaXCoin... Yes it is biggest failure in all computer related projects ever.

trying to pool mine from the wallet i put in my details and it says "miner failed to start make sure you have minard executables and libiries in the same directory as the max qt" any ideas

I just got cgminer working on 1gh so I'm seeing shares accepted for the first time
Whoopy doo! Only took two days to get working software and find a window between DDoS attacks.

yeah they do it takes a while for you unconfirmed MAX to become Confirmed max but after that they send pretty quick..
I've gotten every payment when the payment threshold was hit so far.. I just have one payment waiting to come through but it hasn't moved out of ypool since the site came back online.. so im guessing they are still tinkering with the site.
the payment just went through so.. auto payouts at ypool is working for me.
im even giving them an extra 1% donation because they have done a pretty good job staying up after the attacks.

so , got cgminer-windows from 1gh, pointed at drawfpool. its polling, but keeps losing connection. 1 hour in with 5 drop outs = 0.1374 maxcoin.
just use the max.1gh pool it works, Just the website is getting ddosed
