I hope there are some faucets available and my friend said I can mine on a laptop is that true? I would love to be able to hatch out some of this coin and I praying Max will build infrastructure for the coin as well.

Do you really want do it with CPU-only coin? Cloud mining make it 10x cheaper after 10 days.
