What were you using as the hostname in the wallet mining section then? Where you just putting in "localhost" and it was preferring ipv6 address?

i dont use wallet mining. I use conf file:
rpcuser=xxx
rpcpassword=yyy
rpcallowip=192.168.1.*
rpcport=9936
daemon=1
server=1
onlynet=IPv4

start wallet and connect to it from my mining machine with cgminer.

No matter when it hit, there was going to be a massive dump. Unavoidable. The only thing exchanges could do is force a transaction size limit based on the percentage of the coin circulation with an x timeframe to prevent super dumps.
