We apologize for the delay in this announcement but we wanted to be confident the hard-fork would be stable and existing coins would be safe. That being said test are complete and the relaunch is right on schedule. We will be releasing new items and announcements throughout the week since some of our new services are dependent on 3rd party approval (like Apple). Others simply need final touches.
Here is the official week-long release timeline:
- Phase 1 (date/time link) - Official posting on bitcointalk, twitter and other forums announcing a number of new games, services, core coin services and revised core properties. A number of new services will come online at this time.
- Phase 2 (date/time link) - New games and faucets will be online. By this time we hope to have a number of exchanges listing us, we will be doing everything we can to get listed. Exchanges require the new client and time to integrate it into their system.
- Phase 3 (date/time link) - Mobile apps (pending app store approval). Possible other goodies, more detail in the Phase 2 release.
The dev team does not have have a load of their own coins so we do encourage donations to: KTiU2iYZyykHG9EBbYZ85ygpWNReXtZbFm
if you like what we are doing. These donations are used for promotions, giveaways and to fund bounties for games and other coin-related causes.
The relaunch will include all required info to upgrade your clients in phase 1 release. Also there have been a number of people asking if we will be "uncapping" our max coins as DOGE has decided to do and the answer is no. We will be retaining our max_coins of 25B. We will address this issue in the code long before it becomes a real problem.
Pool owners VERY IMPORTANT: Please PM me if you haven't been contacted already to upgrade your wallets. You have one week to upgrade before the 0.6.4.0 wallets you have will stop working for mining!!
