With the new fork it looks like mining rewards for pow are dropping to 5 from 10 per block, is this correct or am I mistaken?
Yes, that is correct. PoG3 (Proof-of-Growth v3.0) which will start on Nov 5, will make PoW:PoG payout per block 5:15 from 10:10

Somewhere it says "limited invites".
How many invites in total can one give to people? Is there a way to increase the amount of invites possible?
You can give as many invite tokens as you have in your available balance to people. Check the following post to know how to increase amount of invite tokens: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.46690177

Help people good. )) I registered, my wallet was unlocked, and then how? People are languishing in the waiting list, invitation spaces are zero. Where to take invites, how to mine, tell me the algorithm of actions. Help, you can PM. I would be grateful. In Measure listed as @aleksvkibo

If you have downloaded the lightwallet client, mining is pretty simple. Just go to mining tab, select pool and threads and Start.
Please note, there are 2 things in Merit: The Merit coin (MRT) which is the native coin of Merit and Invite token (INV) which is needed to invite new people into the Merit blockchain.
Mining essentially means mining MRT. Mining involves both PoW mining and PoG (Proof of Growth) mining. Also, this mining activity pays out INV tokens which are random and are based on a lottery. Would be best to read up a bit on Merit from https://www.merit.me/

Is there any news about get listed Merit in any exchange, not escroll market (I don't care if it start in a smaller exchange, the main fact is to try to get listed anywhere)   Wink
As per the last AMA, timeline for new exchange is Q4 of this year. But no updated news on that yet.

Looks like an AMD miner is out although I haven't had a chance to test the speeds on it, if anyone with AMD cards wants to report back to the community that would be awesome!

https://cryptomining-blog.com/10360-new-zjazz-1-2-amd-and-nvidia-miner-with-support-for-merit-bitcash-and-suqa/

Unfortunately i think this might be misinformation (not from you but crypto mining blog). The miner stated on the site doesnt seem to support merits mining algorithm. Though, there is a linux only amd miner listed under "cuda experimental" that i cant speak for. Says that if it performs well it could be implemented in the main branch.. that could be the one they meant. Do correct me if im wrong.

Funny that was brought up though as i was wondering if anyone would be willing to share their cycles/s with their processors. With as many as there are on the market im curious at the performence of some of them.

The linux version works great on my Nvidia cards for Merit, I will see if I can dig up an AMD card and compile the AMD miner on linux to see what is available and working.

Edit:  Looks like only the 22i algo is available for AMD cards, so it looks like I jumped the gun on this one but hopefully they will have an AMD merit miner soon.
