For everyone that had problems with compiling on Linux with error for statisticspage.cpp here is solution. You have to edit that file like on the link I provided and then build with qt4... qmake, make clean, make

Cheers Jookly, it is syncing now with the network. 4 active connections, and blocks catching up now. It's a pity that the dev seems to have disappeared as they could have at least open sourced the code and let someone else take over the coin.
