Branding and graphic design on the blockchain.
well, it seems the price has found a bottom. -92% of the maximum is a strong fall. it's funny that now a couple of bitcoins you can buy all the coins and be king. Roll Eyes

good project, but i'm not so clear yet or how useful the coin can be... Huh what's the vision & mission of the project?

Hi! to make long story short:

Mission: Keep Webchain as a profitable cryptocurrency for regular CPU users as we stay ASIC-resistant and botnet unfriendly. Giving these users the chance to mine the coin using different devices.

Vision: Become the standard/most popular blockchain for the design and deployment of DApps, being called the World's most secure blockchain for DApps.

Sounds reasonable and as far as I can understand WEB will be the gas to develop those DApps right? Like considering Webchain becomes a recognized platforms for DApps. Sounds cool. Gonna keep reading

When we get on that stage according to the roadmap, we will share enough details. Please stay in touch, join our social media:

The project is interesting but
some thing shocks me

- the hash power of some miner on the pools. yesterday 75~35 Kh/s for 1 worker  Shocked ( what's your rig ? full datacenter .. :p ) a botnet ?

my setup multiple server

 VERSIONS:     webchain-miner/2.6.2.0 libuv/1.8.0 gcc/7.1.0
 * CPU:            Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5-2650 v4 @ 2.20GHz (1) x64 AES-NI
 * CPU L2/L3:   4.0 MB/30.0 MB
 * THREADS:    16

1 server = speed 2.5s/60s/15m 381.4 365.6 n/a H/s max: 416.2 H/s

Not that bad. Have u tried lowering the number of threads? maybe your l3 cache memory is compromised a little bit by having 16 threads

Thanks for sharing your stats. Back on this page of the forum https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3649170.600, there were some stats shown for certain kind of hardware and we saw some users explaining their settings to each other on discord justifying these relatively high hashrates. Have a look please!

Thx  Smiley

Thank you so much! You actually gave me a better design for mine  Wink

I like those signature campaigns, and we all know they work pretty well... give some thought to promoting a signature program... payable in WEB and it doesn't have to be so expensive... like not using my real accounts because i don't advertise for free  Tongue

I'm glad you found it interesting, were you using the same CPU and settings that you showed on the comment before?

And well, devs are currently working on the integration with a legal JavaScript miner, adding Webchain as another browser mineable cryptocurrency there. It's what follows on the roadmap.

We are working on exchanges, trust me we are. Happens that those that answer quickly are the most expensive ones and as we had no ICO or crowdfunding we can't afford them at the moment. The ones we can afford have a line of other projects being assessed and they take longer than expected to list a coin. Centralized decentralization? Cheesy

I saw the coin on https://coincodex.com/crypto/webchain/ but the supply is not correct and there are no exchanges added there, it's a known place and visitors could get bad information.

You're welcome  Wink

Thanks for sharing your concern, we appreciate it a lot. We sent a request to update those details to their support team a couple of days ago.

Hey, good project. I want to build another webchain pool, and am reading the repo https://github.com/webchain-network/webchain-pool i hadn't seen this pool before, is it a fork or your own code?

It's own version. Its interface is compatible with ETC, but it is not a literal fork as the term suggests.

I see, the pool version i intended to use will not work with this coin  Grin no problem, i'll have to use your pool for sure

You could try the version you prefer and share with the others how it works for you.

Seems like a good token (or coin?) that i could mine, i'm gonna give a try.

just don't let me down please.

We welcome you to start mining off webchain, it's designed to show you how CPU mining can be profitable. There's a short guide to help you out.

Thanks, i'll be sharing my stats in a couple of days here to compare
