I have a win32x pc, how to operate wallet there?

Hello! You can download the GUI Wallet according to your OS from our Github Repository. So far, the wallet is only available for linux and win64. Follow our social media and our News Section for future updates.

But don’t let that stop you from mining, download Webchaind to create and operate your wallet via console. Follow this guide to create or manage your account.

a nice project , and i see the price is not so high but is promising. what is number of miners on pools?

Hi, you can check each pool site and check the number of active miners... on the official pool for example https://pool.webchain.network/#/ there are 273 right now.

The plan will be successful. Riveting results, in right mind design.  Good luck.

Thanks, we really appreciate your comment! You know that a project like this takes a lot of work and that's what the team is doing. Remember there are different ways to support this project.

1) Setup your CPU miner, you can follow this guide to know more.

2) Place some buy orders on any of the exchanges the coins is listed

I really feel good when i see webchain is on the first pages of the forum, this is the only coin that has allowed me to mine using my computer and some old phones, I feel good.

That's the ideal form of a decentralized coin, but for that to work as a sufficient security for large networks you would need a lot of people to participate.

you mean security as "security coins vs utility coins"? and yes, it needs more people... but does it need people to use their miners or people buying the coin? I don't know what's the best approach the team can have to get people.

No I mean security as network security. If not many people are mining this then a single attacker with a lot of CPUs could successfully attack the network and rewrite some of the blockchain for his own advantage. That's what I meant by security.

twenty percent premine ?  Shocked

Yes, consider that Webchain didn’t have any ICO or crowdfunding campaign. Our chances to keep developing this project come from those premined coins. We’ve set lock-in dates for those premined coins, have a look at the time distribution:

5% - available in 2018 (part of it might be used as airdrops in another project to promote Webchain);
20% - available from early 2019;
30% - available from early 2020;
45% - available from early 2021.

Hi may i know how will i be able to do web mining ? I am using the webchain miner. Is that referring to the same thing?

Your question can have two answers,

1) If you mean whether webchain-miner is the CPU miner to mine WEB, then it is. Just install the right version according to your OS.

2) If you are asking about browser-based mining, our devs are working on the integration with http://coinimp.com so WEB can be mined via websites.

Yes, I believe you are ok if you are using the miner.

https://github.com/webchain-network/webchain-miner/releases

Make sure you have edited the start.bat file to include your personal wallet.
