OK so Ive been mining to two days on an address that I got from the wallet. When I try to pull the balance is gives me a zero. When I run the wechaind it starts but I never connect to any peers so I don't know if I'm dl'd the blockchain. Id just hate to lose my already mined coins for some silly reason. Any help would be great
I got same problem with zero balance after webchaind start
But when i wait some time (i tried to view it again after about 1 hour) by command
web3.fromWei(webchain.getBalance(webchain.coinbase), "ether")i saw balance already.
webchain.coinbase return your main wallet in system. If you have some wallets , you can view your balance from specific wallet by sending in webchaind console command:
web3.fromWei(webchain.getBalance('YOURWALLETNUMBER
'), "ether")To view all your wallet accounts in webchaind run command
./webchaind account list (from linux console)
or
webchaind.exe account list (from windows cmd console in folder where stored webchaind.exe)
So need some time for network synchronizing.
Or your locatime set is incorrect , it can be the second reason .
BTW you always can see your actual balance on
https://explorer.webchain.network (set 0x at the beginning you wallet number to view it there)
PS. webchain console can be run by putting in linux shell
./webchaind consolein folder where you download webchaind
On windows you can run it by run cmd.exe in folder where you download webchaind.exe and run it by command in cmd:
webchaind.exe consolePPS: Creating wallet is simple, just by command in console
./webchaind account new (linux)
webchaind.exe account new (Windows)
You will be prompted for password and then your wallet will be created and you will see its number. You can create multiply wallets by this command
