WTB 1000 MONA 0.05 BTC

Seems like a fair price comparing return on hashpower.

Getting it on an exchange adds more credibility and brings in hash power to secure the block chain. Exchanges kill crappy coins with no long term support. This is a community backed coin with real value. There is no premine or instamine to dump on this coin, so anyone getting out early will just miss out on long term stable profits and there isn't enough coin to dump and crash the market because this isn't a junk premined coin. The blocks don't payout billions of trash coins each, so the multipools can't flood the market with them, they can only bring their hash to the community pools and do us good by making our coin stronger!

We have a couple real sellers of product accepting Monacoin in Japan. People need a way to get this coin so they can buy these products with Monacoin. This is the real reason for having cryptocoins in the first place: to secure a real market for products and services. That's why this coin is valuable and a good long term investment! This is Japan's coin and deserves a place on the exchanges along with BTC and LTC. Let's get it on the exchanges so people can get some and spend it, not let it sit here being confused with the crop of crappy premined altcoins that will soon be forgotten.

We need to pull together as a community and earn the respect of the consumers and of the exchanges, and we need to get behind it NOW! Add your hash power to the pools and demand Monacoin's place on the exchanges so we can have a truly unique Japanese coin, released on instant of the new year of 2014, with no scams, no premines, and no funny business, just good technology and an eager community!

Dogecoin has the biggest community after Bitcoin and look what happened after Cryptsy. Big miners rape coins with the multipool shit. Small miners dump as well because of fear. As a result = coin value goes down a lot everytime.

Coins took months to hit exchanges, who cares if shitcoins are on there, look at what happens when they get there, there is no buy power and the coin crashes. is that what you want?

I like how CoinedUp will add all these other shitcoins but then you have MONA which launched with virtually no controversy and is the first real coin aimed at the Japanese and yet it's already losing hashrate and is dying a slow death because there's no easy way to trade.

It's been nearly a full week now. There's two threads on the subreddit, the one that actually shows up in search has 47 upvotes and the other one has 49 upvotes (not going to bother mentioning downvotes since either there's someone going around downvoting everything out of spite or threads are automatically downvoted for whatever reason). Other coins with less votes have already made it onto the site..

I'm starting to wonder if they even read their own subreddit. That, or they are simply refusing to add it since the dev himself isn't the one pushing for the addition to the exchange. If that's the case then I doubt any exchange will add the coin. The dev himself needs to get in on this, even if he is Japanese.

A coin with no dev support is dead in the water, no matter how big the community behind it gets.

I can come into contact with dev via 2ch now! Currently the hash rate is low because the initial pumpers have left and moved on to other coins. However if you have stayed around long enough you will notice that the hashrate is now floating around ~ 100Mh/s. Yes that is low but I can vouch that 90% of that is from Japan, so the initial user base has never disappeared.

In the 2ch threads I have been visiting I notice a lot of talk about the cost of electricity. Not everyone overthere can leave their computers on overnight or have giant mining rigs.

Right now I am talking with the people over at 2ch to come up with ideas and services to offer. This is where we are different from the other crypto's. As I monitor many of the new crypto's emerging I see barely any community offering services for their coin. All I see is people wanting to dump their coins. This could turn out to be more than just a cryptocurrency as well. It could allow more intercultural exchanges as more users emerge. I'm not sure if any other crypto has done that before.

The coin hasn't been out very long. Why the huge rush to get it on an exchange?

I agree, if you introduce this coin early, the dumpers will dump and scare the community when it hits the lowest point.
Then again, I think it would be be best if the dumpers got rid of their coins early on so they aren't able to dump it all when Monacoin is actually highly valued in Japan.

Don`t panic! Organize!
Attention USA MONA miners!
I have bought a VPS on US ground and put P2pool node on it!
It should be way better than mining on oversea nodes Cheesy
http://p2pool-us.gotgeeks.com:9904

It is 1% fee node.

Happy mining Cheesy

After mining it in a pool, I decided to mine solo with good hashpower only to notice that the blocks I'm finding aren't getting confirmed by the network.

http://www.reddit.com/r/CoinedUp/comments/1u9qj0/please_add_monacoin_mona/ 8 votes to go. Then (if it's right) coinedup will add mona to their exchange!

There's already a thread here: Please consider adding [MONA] Monacoin

Why isn't the original thread showing up in search though I wonder?

we have 58 comments on the other thead and it doesnt even show on hot wtf?? i guess lets support the one that shows too.

new theard on hot for coinedup http://www.reddit.com/r/CoinedUp/comments/1u9qj0/please_add_monacoin_mona/
