It's great to see that this coin is still alive and kicking.

Unfortunately I didn't jump in on the right moment. Jumping in now (again) isn't a great decision I think. How do you guys think about that? Do you think the price will increase?

The price will increase or else whoever is holding these dozens of bitcoins of sell / buy orders will end up with worthless coins that cannot be sent anywhere let's say "quickly", to the point that defeats the purpose of a cryptocurrency. Unless we are lucky enough to get a working difficulty update, of course. ;-)

http://mooncoinpool.com < don't use that pool. The dont payout at the moment. My coins are since one week unconfirmed. NO ADMIN, NO SERVICE!  Angry Angry Angry

It may not be a scam at all. Your coins may indeed not be confirmed yet because MoonCoin is incredibly slow right now due to multipools having messed up the difficulty. So, don't go around screaming scam as the issue lies elsewhere.

At least now everyone who is into Moon will have to go for a long shot. There is no short-term selling except for the coins you already have at exchanges until who is responsible for it either rise the price (they may refuse to do so but as long as they still hold Moon it will do them no good) or more people start mining to work against the multipool effect at least a little bit.

Do you know that today is the day of the first full moon of the lunar year?

The 15th day of the New Year according to the lunar calendar is called 元宵節(Yuan Xiao) in Chineese, According to East Asian tradition, at the beginning of a new year, when there is a bright full moon in the sky, people would there appreciate and worship the moon.

For this reason, MOONCOIN TODAY, might get some attention to ASIANS(many many CHINESE)!

I see the faucet at http://mooncoinfaucet.com/ is empty again.  Do we know who runs that?

Unfortunately I only have a handful of Mooncoins myself so I can't offer to donate.

Est. Avg. Time per Block    1 hour 48 minutes 45 seconds

This means it will take about a week at current hashrate / price for the difficulty readjustment to kick in.

By the way following this pool operator https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.5079595 people have a lot of issues with Doge 1.5 and it isn't reliable at all:
"We keep fixing it and it keeps breaking there is an issue with the Doge 1.5 Client, ask any pool op" - "the coind gives out a http 500 60% of times making payouts fail."

Meaning copying Doge's "solution" may not be the best thing to do. I don't think you will need diff adjustments after every block anyway, but maybe after 10 blocks (instead of 300) would be enough.

Other solutions to get out of this lag: Buy up the 11 satoshi orders and not set up 10 satoshi orders. Following Reddit, the person supposedly selling is actually trying to buy (normal market manipulation as we know it).

Or, if one of the Moon pumpers would feel like pumping Moon again, it would suddenly increase the hashrate and blocks would be found at a much faster rate.

Or, start to mine Moon for the future and not to sell it immediately. Be patient.

Little help - -

Sent a deposit to Cryptsy - BUT

5 hours now and the wallet says "0 Confirmations"
???Zero??? - WTF?

any thoughts?

You should have at least one confirmation now. Blocks are coming in very slowly due to the fact that the diff is way too high for the amount of miners right now. As soon as diff drops (after every 300 blocks) it should go through very quickly. Have you restarted your wallet?

I wish we could support the dev a bit more with his updates. Maybe a different approach for a difficulty adjustment could be used that would work as well?
