Don't really want to mess around with beta drivers. Can you please link your miner and bin files you use?

I'm trying those bins and miner from this post https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.7607558

I also have TeamViewer set up, if you want to directly operate on my mining PC  Grin

I also tried his bins with 14.4 drivers but didn't work for me also hw errors.
u can also copy the 14.6 opencl/ocl files into the sgminer folder, delete the old bins and it wil create new 14.6 bins because of the opencl files.

Look at the .bin file name and check if it was generated using the correct kernel!

@xenocyde
Which sgminer do u use? I'm using the v5 prerelease25062014 from nicehash site, which is older than on the site now.
u can try the latest one.(06302014)
I must say there are too many sgminers around the net and the stable one is what I use now. Others gave me instability.

I deleted the hamsi string and I still get hw errors - invalid nonce count. I tried with 4010/4011 and 5550/4440 ports, all the same.

Leave out the hamsi string unless you are going to mine x15 algo. Your config was made for sgminer v5 algoswitcher. I'm not sure, but I think the included kernels only perform a few percent less compared to the non-algo-switching miner.

You should look upon Bullus' posts.

I did not change names of bins, I changed names of kernels in config file (x11mod and X13 mod as I had marucoin and darkcoin). Where do I put that hamsi string in my config? I tried to add "hamsi-expand-big" : "4" under each pool or in the general settings and miner still gives HW errors or nonce errors.

U can't rename the binfiles from darkcoin to marucoin or x11 to x13.

I downloaded the 14.6 miner and those bin files.

I imported my config file I posted here https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.7337607

I changed the kernel names, put those bins in the miner folder, but first time when I started miner it gave me only HW errors. Tried again and it just idled. Tried some more and HW errors again.

What am I missing here? I'm using 14.4 catalyst, but induktor said this works on 14.4 as well. I also have 2 X Sapphire R9 280X Dua-X.

Just use his bins and tips to get the boost.  Wink same as for x11/x13

https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.7572380

LIFESAVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

THAT WORKED WOW! THANK YOU!  (sorry but CAPS are a must in this case!)

I got now for every R9 280X:

4.4 MH in X11
3.1 MH in X13
2.4 MH in X15

and still using the same 14.4 drivers!
fantastic! thank you!!

Can you please explain how exactly we should use those bin files? I only see bins for bitblock... do we use these for x11 and x13 as well?

You are correct, these bins were made for bitblock, maybe he renamed it.

.bins for x11 and x13 below;

14.6 x11 (g2, w256, tc8192) .bin gives +4.4mh/s
-> download x11modTahitiglg2tc8192w256l4 https://app.box.com/s/v5ir2hrq8vqgxbp6dq5r
--> x11mod kernel

Code:
-I 18 -w 256 --thread-concurrency 8192 --lookup-gap 2 -g 2 --gpu-engine 1150 --gpu-memclock 1500 --auto-fan --no-submit-stale --no-pool-disable

14.6 x13 (g2, w256, tc8192) .bin gives +3.1mh/s
-> download x13modTahitiglg2tc8192w256l4 https://app.box.com/s/5n4ahregutorpi7oce8w
--> x13mod kernel

Code:
-I 18 -w 256 --thread-concurrency 8192 --lookup-gap 2 -g 2 --gpu-engine 1180 --gpu-memclock 1500 --auto-fan --no-submit-stale --no-pool-disable

I am using: sgminer-5.0-pre-release-2014-06-25-win32

I know there is probably a better one but since that worked well, i didn't change it, however it has several things wrong, nothing deadly but for instance: accepted and rejected global counter shows crap, and if you switch between this one and the other I use (sgminer 4.1 for X11 and X13) a couple of times, some card stop working and have to reboot.

sorry I don't have a link, I cannot remember from where I get it, I spend 6 hours yesterday modifying my miners for X15 and I don't remember from when I get what Smiley

EDIT: I think that it was the pre-release from here: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/ann-sgminer-v5-optimized-x11x13neoscryptlyra2reetc-kernel-switch-miner-632503

What's the right version of sgminer to use for x15?

There is no single best one, about five or so exist right now.

Find one that will let you run bitblock.cl and won't fuck up your rig.
