Throughout all the different markets, there has been 16.35 BTC worth of NYC volume in the past 24 hours. That's about $200K in volume. But its important to note, that NYC has been holding its value even after that massive surge a few weeks ago. Its in a stabilizing process, but is still growing support and growing volume. Its not gonna surge every day. But it will happen slowly, over time, and as the community grows, the coin will too. This Coinomi airdrop will be a great step to get NYC on more peoples radar. Just a matter of time.

coinmarketcap has problem, don't take that data as serious. It cannot reflect the real info for NYC. It's also missing NYC/ETH, NYC/DOGE, NYC/WAVE...., so the volume shown on coinmarketcap is wrong, too. All this problems have been reported to coinmarketcap by many people, many times, they never fixed!
So just go to yobit to check it by yourself!

Then what is the motivation for miners to process the transactions once all new New York Coins will be emitted? How will the network sustain itself?

NYC, unlike BTC, has unlimited emission. If we agree to reduce block reward, we can make a constant 1%/year "inflation", less than USD and others fiat currency
