as i understand good the bounty distributions and the airdrop is going happen on Tuesday. 

That's partly true.

Any node can run matcher, so basically you would have to connect DEX to another node.

Right now, only the Waves team can do that but in the future anyone can run an exchange on his own node, through the API.

I am new here, but from my readings, l understood that some of main functionalites of dex is done central, e.g. order maching, if this is true then it could be shut down by any government simply by filtering its server.

I sense a lack of simple deltaether like exchange for waves tokens, why it dont have yet?
Is this on roadmap?

What you could do is to create a waves asset called  OceanEuro (maybe a better name) and peg it to the Euro at a 1:1 ratio. Then, you can setup an online web interface gateway or give them (general public) your bank account to deposit Euro's. In return people can purchase an equivalent number of  OceanEuro on their OceanLAB account.

Now, the OceanEuro holders can use this token at coffee shops, movie theaters etc... all you need is to transfer the  tokenised  oceanEuro bill to the cafe address through a mobile APP. it should be easier since the addresses can now have aliases. You have the equivalent euros in your bank account and you can settle it with the cafe after commission.

That way you could get rid of costly terminals. This also puts you in direct competition with the debit card/efptos card machine suppliers for businesses because you don't even need one and is useful for very small businesses that cannot afford debit card reader machines.

Remember, not to do a FIAT conversion to anyone except your clients because all you have in your bank is what you can pay for or end up having a liquidity crunch.

And since DEX is a decentralized exchange, China couldn't shut it down

Did you read the thread title? The ICO has already ended including bounty campaign for early supporters. There's no need to replace it into something. You can buy on DEX exchange if you want some tokens.

Loving it. I am hoping to work together soon and see what ocean labs can do for charity based orginizations.

It is recommended to replace the ICO into a drop or bounty activity, ICO project is now too dangerous

Hi everyone: A little update on our actual plans and partnerships:

1) A new Wavesdrop (https://wavesdrop.com/) version is currently cooking, we want to create the faucet the Wavesplatform deserves and this is a first step towards it, new features (actual and planned as we're still working on some of them):

- Integration of the blockchain powered chat
- Integration of platform and asset news
- Realtime price ticker for every asset

- Token creators will be able to benefit from 100% of the ad revenues from their tokens faucets(currently supporting Adsense but other ad providers will be added including the Oceanlab one when it will be available)
- Token creators will be able to customize their token faucet (logo, theme color, ...)
- Token creators will be able to set their parameters (amount, ...)
- Faucet balances are now showing
- Oceanlab Investor's pool is filled automatically with 5% of all the Waves and Tokens distribution from the faucets(But our script will only distribute the valuable ones)

Unfortunately, we still have an issue with the asset distribution since the last node updates which will be fixed soon.

2)We'll provide services to 4 Waves related projects in the following months, the first one is starting next week for Coffeecoin. We'll announce the other ones as soon as we start working on them. You can expect to see some coffeecoins in the investor's pool as soon as our service will be enabled.

3)We have an agreement with an entrepreneur to provide and test our first token payment terminal at his restaurant.

Great concept: He's an artist, designer and collector of genuine costumes from Hollywood (Iron Man, Star Wars, ...), he will expose them in his Hollywood themed diner (in Belgium), this will be his 3rd restaurant.

Our first terminal is being developed and the prototype will be fully functional there in the first half of 2018. Our aim: To see how it performs live, enhance the design with customer feedback (we want more than a terminal that any Waves user can use, we want something everyone can use) and create a commercial version of it.

We've met with several entrepreneurs in the past few days, some very important ones having establishments in several countries, and we're amazed to see how open to cryptocurrencies they are, for most of them all of this is very new and they really appreciate to talk to someone who can speak about the way they could use it in their own business.

Tokenization is an appealing concept to all of them and not out of reach anymore technically speaking. We'll provide them with solutions related to their own business.

one of the oceanlab product is https://wavesdrop.com but i dont understand when i try it the site tell that i got 0.0001 waves but i didnt recieve it
