As i wrote in another threat,

i was at bitcoin.org, (believe it or not, thats was the one time i hardly checked the site) and deposited there  a small amount. Well, i can see that my money arrived, but i can`t withdraw... It says i don`t have enough BTC. Maybe a nice try to convince ppl to transfer more money.
However, sometimes my balance shows just a zero for a really short time... No answers of the support

Just one thing i found when i looked more closely to the site: There stand i can request after SOME TIME a withdraw. "Some time" can be a veeery stretchable term.

I still hope to get my BTC back some day

I've also been phished I believe, via the "official website" as nothing else makes any sense whatsoever.

I made a deposit which didn't arrive.  I checked the deposit address and this is different to the one on my account and the one I previously used.

My issue is that I know the time/date when I made the deposit and I found the address on the website.  I've checked my browser history and I visited http://www.bitcoinfog.com/ at that time and I remember I copied the address for bitcoin fog from here, I then used the address from my account to send the btc.

If I have indeed been phished it is entirely due to the address provided on their website as nothing else makes sense. 

A few others seem to have echoed the same as what I've said here...

It's always a good idea to save the PGP public key of anyone you think you might like to deal with, once you find where it's listed, and to verify it against something they've signed.

I sent the Fog a long message the other day using my shaderkabia account outlining my case, providing evidence the account which password got changed by someone other than me really is my account and I really did not forget my password.
Logged in to Bitcoinfog with my shaderkabia account today to find that the support message history has been wiped (again, not by me).

And there's these new accounts who have signed up only to post the alternate new address that also gets you to Bitcoin fog. There's no explanation for the multiple addresses anywhere.

I'm sorry to say this, but I very much doubt that an admin is ever going to come on to clear this up. If I were a betting man, to give the original makers of Bitcoinfog the the benefit of the doubt, I would say that they've been fucked. A gun held to their head/knife to their throat, blackmail, or whatever, forced to hand over their twitter password, forum password, private key(s) and all access to their servers. It definitely looks like they have been fucked.
That, or they've gone rogue. Which means we're the ones who have been fucked.

Unless somebody can verify that they are still using the service, depositing, mixing and withdrawing BTC with no issues?

I tried logging in on all 3 addresses, no success. And I still haven't received my coins.

Waiting for an admin to clear things up in this thread. Doesn't make sense to have 2 "new" addresses, so it's hackers trying to get more BTC until I'm assured otherwise. The twitter account could be hacked as well for all we know, unless it's all just some evasive measures against Onymous/whatever... I just want the BTC back, that's all I care. And what about the phc6.onion link?

P.S. I don't have the PGP addresses, didn't think I'd need them. Also don't know about the BTC traffic on Blockchain, it's all pretty new to me too.

My password has also been changed after I deposited some BTC into my account and logged out. I have been using the same password for several days and never had a login error until now, so somebody who is not me has taken control of my account.
Also, after depositing the bitcoin, it was an hour and a half I could still log in to my account, the bitcoin had still not shown up even though my wallet from where I deposited the BTC showed 15 network confirmations.

I used the new address that has been updated on bitcoinfog.com, the first post on this thread, and Bitcoinfog's twitter.

So, what's going on? We have 3 addresses that all seem to take us to Bitcoinfog: http://fogcoren4tt6pz4m.onion/ , http://fogcore5n3ov3tui.onion/ , and http://foggeddriztrcar2.onion/ . I have a separate account that I'm testing the situation with.

If you're logged in to http://fogcore5n3ov3tui.onion and open http://foggeddriztrcar2.onion in a new tab, you have to enter your username and password, instead of being served the home screen if you open the same address you logged into in a new tab. This is probably just how the login portal works.

Any changes you make using http://foggeddriztrcar2.onion/ (eg a new support message, or a new wallet address) are immediately reflected on http://fogcore5n3ov3tui.onion and vice versa. The information is also identical (identical wallet address codes).
If you log in to http://fogcore5n3ov3tui.onion/ , and then try to log in to http://fogcoren4tt6pz4m.onion without waiting long enough, you get the message saying Wait 5 minutes before next login.

So it seems that all three addresses in this post are sending to and receiving from information from the same database(s).

This has changed. The message about the new URL, if you log in to http://fogcore5n3ov3tui.onion , the message says the new URL is http://foggeddriztrcar2.onion/ . If you log in to http://foggeddriztrcar2.onion/ , it also has the very same message. However if you log in to http://fogcoren4tt6pz4m.onion/ , you have the same message except it says the URL is http://fogcoren4tt6pz4m.onion/ .

What's missing from this situation is a new post on this thread from Akemashite Omedetou explaining the change. There is a twitter post approx 15hrs ago and the aforementioned messages that appear when you log in to the 3 Bitcoinfog tor onion addresses, but no new forum post. This might not mean anything, though.

I really hope they haven't gone rouge/been taken control of. The most optimistic outlook is that they are changing people's passwords who deposit BTC as a temporary measure to protect accounts while something is going on. Or a third party has been hijacking accounts. If this is what's happening, they really should know about it.

We will just have to wait and see what happens.

If anybody has Bitcoinfog's public key saved from before this update, please check it matches up with the new public key and signature.

If anybody has any other tor onion addresses that lead to Bitcoinfog and seem to be linked the same way as the three I have described in this post, please post them.

The same thing has happened to me. As I've written in my post, I've used another account to message them logged in to the old http://fogcore5n3ov3tui.onion and got a message back saying that  http://foggeddriztrcar2.onion really is their new URL. Since a couple of other people have had this happen to them recently, I think it's likely that a third party has been hijacking user accounts.

Well, I got the link from the real website www.bitcoinfog.com/ and as another user pointed out they previously linked to a phishing site.


There are many people who have reported the same thing so maybe there is something wrong. And I absolutely do blame BitcoinFog when the phishing link came from their site.

Well I've been trying to reach BitcoinFog support for over a month now, both through tickets in BF control panel and pms here on BTCtalk.

Loved the service until losing some coins and not a word from support for so long despite numerous attempts to reach them.

Hi all, so I believe I just got scammed out of my bitcoins. I found the TOR link via www.bitcoinfog.com/, created an account, made a deposit, waited until I saw the coins on my account. I forwarded them to another account with the 6h minimum timer. About an hour later I tried to login to Bitcoinfog, only to receive an error message (the service is temporarily unavailable, I believe it said) which was weird because I had just re-logged no problem like 20 minutes ago. I got the link from www.bitcoinfog.com/ again, then I noticed it was different from the URL I had just used... I didn't save the URL and can't recall at which point it had changed. Tried logging in to the "real" site and it says "Could not login using provided information."

I found this thread and read a bit, so it seems there are other people telling the same thing happened to them. I believe it's some kind of site hijacking like post #251 said. It's been more than 8 hours and I still don't see my coins so it's quite safe to say they're gone to a phishing site. (I will edit my post if I get them.)

Reading comments from other users in this thread I saw the support isn't really doing much, so I decided to post as a warning to others. I believe Bitcoinfog is responsible for the loss of my and other people's coins who had the same thing happen to them. As such, Bitcoinfog should compensate for the losses. I am not bashing Bitcoinfog: I am just reasonably upset enough that I needed to vent my frustration in this thread. (Bitcoinfog admins can contact me via PM to clear this up)

In the meantime, I would STRONGLY ADVISE NOT TO USE BITCOINFOG. I don't know whether it is hackers or fraudulent administration: all I know I lost my coins and hopefully nobody else will.

bitcoinfog is the only mixer I trust, there's already been rumors of mixers being run by the feds so you have to be very careful laundering your bits

So yes this is my first post. Maybe I am a slight newbie to deepweb and bitcoin, but i am no newbie to the game or ordering on the net. I had a couple of good experiences with bitcoinfog until today. I sent out some bitcoins today thru bitcoin fog. A relatively small amount and I am gonna keep it to myself for a bit to see if it gets resolved. So I try to login to bitcoinfog and check my account and it tells me that I cant login with such username/password. My password is saved in a password saver. Definitely did not change since this morning. All traffic stopped about a hour after I sent the order to be done. I got "some" out of it, but not being able to login has me worried that something is definitely wrong. Definitely looks like I got fucked somehow. Just my 2 cents

Yes, I'm a relative newb, but we all start somewhere, and I'd been using fog for months without problems until this.  All I was asking that support at least had the courtesy to look into my issue - if they'd said after I deposited and tried to make a withdrawal, that "I" had logged back in and changed my password, that's at least something.  But nothing from them, so one can only draw the conclusion; that they either don't care, or were complicit.

"Bashing" fog on a public forum was a last resort, but what the fuck else was I supposed to do other than create a new account - that's the only way to contact support.

I'm only sharing my own experience and others will read into that what they will.  As I said before, trust is the issue.

I'm not trying to big up the alternatives - you can find them if you want, but 2 stage PGP login as required by my new mixer might have avoided being hacked or robbed.

I created account on bitcoinfog, and after 10 minutes I generated unique btc address, I sent btc because I wanted  to chceck how it works, I waiting, waiting waiting..... and ? btc address has been changed.

my account had 10 minutes, how somebody hacked my account?

2 days ago I eas entering the site by using the link on http://www.bitcoinfog.com/
After typing my username + password it told me, there is no connection to the server and I should try it later.
Now I wanted to log in again and I can'  t because anyone has changed my password.
I guess, the link on http://www.bitcoinfog.com/ was 'wrong' so probably it sent my to another site..
So my questions, is there any possibility to get my money back?
